iPhone and iPod Touch account for an astonishing 95.8% of all mobile device hits on engadget's websites. PING!

Where are the other mobile browsers? Ping!

Hahahahah - the *Wii* has more visits than any of the Windows Mobile, Palm or Symbian devices.

This is an example of how Apple is a category-killer. Smart phones with some sort of Web browsing have been around forever, but the iPhone puts a delightful interface on it and removes a lot of the limitations smart phones have had as Web devices.

Having used the browsers on an iPhone and on a Treo, it’s no contest; I’d bet iPhone users, on average, spend a whole lot more time on the Web. My sister-in-law has an iPhone, and she doesn’t cross the room to sit at the computer when she wants to look something up on the Web any more.

I like Endgadget, but it’s pretty much an Apple fanboy site so the iPhone type hits don’t really surprise me.
