The funny thing is Isaac Hayes, may he rest in peace, will be remembered by the younger generation as Chef.
Sort of like Phil Rizzuto. I knew him as a Yankee announcer and the Money Store guy back in the 70’s. When somebody told me he played SS for the Yankees, I was shocked.
He played ball? Hayes was an accomplished musician??

Yeah, I don't think they hated Chef for leaving the show. I think they really felt sorry for him.
