Because it's there. Also to note the passing of Wall Arch in Arches National Park.

The white formation at lower left has JFK’s head sticking out of its top.

That’s really an amazing sight. People need to see it soon because some day it too, like Wall Arch, will collapse.

That is a great place. Very beautiful, but was overrun by Japanese when I was there. We snapped a picture of one lady feeding the chipmunks right next to the plague warning sign saying not to contact the wildlife especially chipmunks.
We left for Kodachrome Basin which is a smaller version of Bryce. Less crowded, but equally beautiful and quiet camping site.

Is that John Connally in front?

Reminds me of those things that would grow from those ‘magic pebbles’ we would drop into a fishbowl when I was a kid.
BTW, beautiful pic.

I don’t know, it kind of looks like an ancient Nephite ruin of some sort. They’re all over the place, you know.

There’s another formation that looks like Queen Victoria ... took the trail to the bottom ... nice hike.

Utah is a beautiful state with many natural wonders.
BTW, for those mourning the “passing” of Wall arch in Arches, don’t get too dejected :) There are 2000 other arches inside the park.
Since 1970, forty-three arches have toppled because of erosion.

Get out and see Landscape Arch. It might not be around much longer. A truly amazing sight.
