Precedent?
58 is younger than 55? Or might we have a typo? :-)

Here I was trying to reassemble this thing because the numbers don’t fit the words. I am too tired to do this for now.
Pacoima has been the “hood” for as long as I can remember. I can’t imagine this really being big news these days. Maybe cuz it wasn’t gang related? LOL
yeah, i saw that too. how can we trust the rest of the article when simple things like this seem to be wrong?
I think young 55 year old punk liked to blare the rock n roll when he came home early in the morning. This particular morning the old man of 58 was fed up and decided to get in his face. A fight then ensued, during which the punk shot the geezer and killed him. This interpretation makes the words and numbers match up, but then the headline doesn’t quite fit.
Since the US Army used loud music to drive the pineapple nuts, this guy may have a good defense? [I am not sure if the US has used loud music at Gitmo?]

I must confess that when a car rolls by with a deafening cacophony of distorted bass, I do sometimes have a strong desire for a rocket launcher. I doubt I’d really fire it, but... :-)
I’m always amazed that someone could listen to something that sounds so laughably bad and be proud of it.

When you reach your 50's , I'd naturally assume that all that sort of thug mentality - and blaring your car stereo for all to enjoy - would be out of the blood.
That’s what I was thinking. Sleep deprivation. I’m already inclined to go easy on him.
Now wait a cotton-pickin' minute...
I'm 56, and I like playing music pretty damn loud sometimes... I've got a 2000-watt PA system for my band and when I crank that sucker up it can knock any car stereo into next week.
That said, I play rock and blues and jazz, not ghetto-crap. IF the 55-yr old was playing loud [c]rap, I'd probably think about shooting him too.
"Geezer" my @$$.... ;-)
I hear you on the rocket launcher. My favorite is when they leave the stereo blaring with no one in the car, like at the gas station they’ll head inside for a bag of chips or whatever and leave it going.
Seriously though, at your age, at my age, are we not passed that sort of sh*t?
unless there's JD involved of course, dang that firewater...
Works for me, except if it’s my music of course. ;)
OUCH! ;-)
> j/k, I was lookin' to get rise out of someone.
I guess you did, too...
> Seriously though, at your age, at my age, are we not passed that sort of sh*t?
Depends. Most days, yeah. Some days, I crank up the music pretty loud. I still play a mean electric guitar, and there are days when work's been a bitch and I come home and all the wood is already chopped, and slamming out some screaming blues is Just Right.
I live way the hell out in the country. Nobody minds.
> unless there's JD involved of course, dang that firewater...
I favored JD until around 2000, then I switched over to tequila -- only good stuff, mind you -- and while I still can shoot whiskey, I prefer a good Anejo.
And yes, when my band plays out, the firewater contributes to the overall volume...
Got one who drives through my neighborhood at 3 AM. Not saying its right, but I understand.
Ah, the good old days, when my neighbors in Brooklyn wouldn’t stop blasting Reggaeton. I responded by blasting “Scotland the Brave” toward their window. It worked, until the were finally evicted by my landlord.
theres a geezer about 70 or so in youtube mugging to “this is why i’m hot” song on youtube.....teh funny
