Good morning!
The non-partisan National Tax Policy Center has examined Obama's economic plans for us and predicts they would add 3.4 trillion dollars to the national debt. Not exactly fiscal responsibility is it?
The Russian/Georgian war moves into its second, dangerous week.

Oh! I have to run, but wanted to tell you that I watched an old movie I taped the other night: 36 Hours. You've probably seen it...interesting premise, not always well developed, but right away the music got my attention. It was outstanding...took awhile to rewind to the credits, and found the composer was Dmitri Tiomkin who wrote so many great movie scores of such variety.
Far different from the All Sound the same stuff which acompanies many movies today, IMO.

2/3rds, that was the perfect reply to a canvasser for Mr. 0 Man. I do give them credit, tho, for organizing and trying to locate supporters. Very important for E-Day.

Good morning Mrs. Pitcher (bowing graciously). It is with deep gratitude that I see you have embarked upon a new weekly thread, for our enjoyment. (I’ve been immersed in the John Adams DVD - can you tell?)
I’m practicing this line - I shall remove myself from your company Mr. SnarliBear, until you regain your senses.
Such a polite way to say - I’m outta here!

Good day Mrs. Iowa Granny.
I musn’t stay long on FR - just lurked and did a drive-by post whilst eating lunch.
I hope you’re having a day that is fine as a frog’s hair!
(I just can’t stay “in character” can I?) Am REALLY enjoying John Adams - the book was fabulous too!

Hey! Just had a thought: 36 Hours featured James Garner as Maj. Jefferson Pike. Star Trek, The Original Series, Episode 'The Cage' featured Jeffrey Hunter as Captain Christopher Pike.
Coincidence???? I think NOT!!! ;-))

Seven Days In May is what will happen to an Obama Presidency if he is elected...;-))

We were younger then, and didn't make funny noises and smells with every step we took. ;)
