Oh! I have to run, but wanted to tell you that I watched an old movie I taped the other night: 36 Hours. You've probably seen it...interesting premise, not always well developed, but right away the music got my attention. It was outstanding...took awhile to rewind to the credits, and found the composer was Dmitri Tiomkin who wrote so many great movie scores of such variety.

Far different from the All Sound the same stuff which acompanies many movies today, IMO.

Hey! Just had a thought: 36 Hours featured James Garner as Maj. Jefferson Pike. Star Trek, The Original Series, Episode 'The Cage' featured Jeffrey Hunter as Captain Christopher Pike.
