1. Iraq is producing oil now, can anyone tell me who makes the profit off of that drilling? Does the oil come to the US? Have we demanded a cut to repay ourselves? Who is refining the oil once it is pumped and where? My anger would cause me to implode if I found this was being pumped out unde the guard of US troops (funded by US taxes, of course) to be sent to China, India or Europe would be criminal.

2. Is Nancy Pelosi taking trains or bicycles on her book tour? Didn't think so.

Pelosi’s book is rated somewhere around #1000 on Amazon’s Best Seller list. Perhaps a better question to ask is, “Why bother?”

It becomes clearer why Popeye Pelosi was so intent on forcing Congress to adjourn this past Friday.

Had Congress remained in session -- and dealt seriously with fiding a means to lower energy costs in the short term -- Madame Speaker would not have been able to travel (on her fossil-fuel-burning jet) hither and yon, promoting the sale of her book.

Oh great - and just in time for our annual gravel-pit shoot-em-up, where my gun owner friends gather to shoot at un-ordinary targets we collect and bring with us. I nailed a couple of Dixie Chicks CD’s a couple of years ago with a 9mm, and their still hanging in my garage like trophies. Pelosi’s book with a few well placed shots would be an ideal addition.
