A Freeper's Observation; San Fransisco Shame
8-3.08 | E.G.C.

Posted on 08/03/2008 4:33:46 AM PDT by E.G.C.

HOWDY FREEPERS!!!!!!!

I have to tell you that I've been watching our U.S. Congress for over the last several years since C-SPAN has been on our cable system.

And I will say thaat if I were living in Maryland, San Fransisco or Colorado I would be completely and totally embarrased at the conduct of my "representatives" in both the House and the Senate. This was absolutely the most disgraceful performance I've ever seen in my life and I'm only 44 years old.

It's so hard for me to put things in words but I'm going to try. You know, as someone who lives in a small town a lot the neccessities require me to travel eight miles to the nearest city. That means getting some gas.

To say people like me need to conserve is just plain BULLS****!!!!!!! It simply doesn't work me and it sure as h*** ain't going to work for lots of other people either.

And then for this sorry lazy miserable good for nothing p*ss poor excuse for a representative from SF to go and play in front of a violin ensemable and say "we work so hard and we deserve a break and then fly back to California in her cushy airplane is pure BULLS**** and CRAPPING F***!!!!!!!!!! Apparently it hasn't occured to her or her kind that gas is very short supply and that prices are going up becuase of it and right now people are in a major major bind.

And, there is but just one solution to this problem and yet this sorry lazy miserable good for nothing piece of dogs*** and her kind have chosen not to address. I think you and I know what that is.

I think everyone is really beginning to rue the day we let Pelosi, Reid and their kind run this country.

And I can tell you that Barack Obama is not going to be any better either. What he is proposing will only make things worse.

Now, as I've been saying I haven't been to high on John McCain in the past but it seems like he coming to face reality on some of these issues. It may very well be that we'll have to hold our noses come election time.

I have seen a preview of Barack Obama's America and it's not soemething I'm looking forward to.

And also you folks in Colorado, your "represenative" Ken Salazzar has also had a hand in this. Every proposal to allow drilling was blocked by him. Next time you go to the pump, you might think about that. This sorry S.O.B. is giving your state a very bad name.

TOPICS: Chit/Chat
KEYWORDS: 110th; pelosi
The bottom line to all this is we need to throw these bums out and change the leadership in Congress because if we don't, if the Dems take both houses of Congress and the White House, America is going to end up like Zimbabwe where every single neccesity is goverment controlled and given only to regions loyal to the ruling party.

That is something I'm not looking forward to.

Regards...............

Hopefully many more in SF will come to their senses, throw the bums out, and vote for McCain.

Glad to see someone else is as angry as I. These “just conserve” idiots haven’t a clue that there are no designer blend fuels to run tractors, combines, long-haul transports, delivery trucks, service vehicles, etc. etc....Those of us that can conserve are already doing it by multi-tasking our errands and staying at work through our lunch hour, and cutting out weekend drives.

There are several million vehicles on American highways now and we simply can not all convert to hybrid cars, even if we had any faith that hybrid is the way to go. We have already lost all of the trade in value on these cars.

The costs of food, building material, services and everything that we need will be forced to escalate to the point that we will all be the working poor.

I doubt we can rely on San Francisco for anything which will promote healing in our nation - they have checked out and are a nation unto themselves with no thought for the rest of us. Narcissism, USA.

McCain perhaps took the right path in being non confrontational and giving Obama his long leash in July so we could all ‘get to know an unknown quantity’ which is exactly what has happened without any tantrums from McCain which would not have been productive for his campaign.

He may be waiting an opportunity moment for Obama to feel heady on a winning path and allow him to step in the doo which rapidly spreading about this famous newcomer to the international scene... “Oh Obama We Hardly Knew Ye”....

McCain may not be a rock star - but his experience could very well be what is needed right now. Obama may look like a shiny new toy - but I see a well worn, reliable guy who is looking pretty good for the future.

For the very reason McCain suffered for us years ago is why I will hang on his side until the decision is made.

One word. Amnesty. It makes all the difference between a McCain who might do the country some good and as much a disaster as Hussein promises to be. If we can force a more conservative Congress in November, one that won't give McCain his Amnesty, maybe it will work out. If he gets the Amnesty then nothing else makes any difference at all after 4 years. There will be many millions of new Democrats just waiting to vote all the assets of the rich gringos into their own pockets and government controls on the movement and lives of those gringos.

All congressman should be forced to walk everywhere until they allow drilling.

Why don’t you tell us what you REALLY think, FReeper pal? Anyway, Nancy Pelosi had to leave town in a hurry to go on her book tour, don’t you know:

Doesn’t she look oh so pretty on the cover of her own book?

Yes, I am embarrassed to be from California right about now and I don’t blame you for being ticked off.

Nancy Pelosi is evil to leave town to go and promote her book while the rest of us suffer from high gas prices. I need to drive today after Church from Fresno to the Bay Area to pick up my granddaughter. We are hurting for money so I guess I’ll put the gas on the credit card. When it comes to the grandkids you have to do what you have to do.

Meanwhile, Nancy Pelosi is on a book tour which is why, I’m sure, she was in such a hurry to skip out on the people’s business.

If she comes near my town with her book tour, I am going to FReep her sorry rearend but good!

Thanks, everybody for the responses.

Yes, as you can tell I'm not a very happy camper right now and neither are millions of other Americans.

We are very fortunate here in Oklahoma to have good folks like my Representative Tom Cole stand up for the cause. I hope everyone here in Oklahoma is taking notice and will support people like Cole in his run for re-election.

Some reason a Government as rich and powerful as ours, who has given companies like Microsoft and others tax break after tax break after tax break can’t all just STAY HOME and teleconference each day?

That would save a TON of fuel.

I’m not going to worry about a lack of fuel until they start canceling NASCAR races. ;)

I don’t care what word is attached to controlled legal migration as long as people are documented.

Once that horrendous task is complete as best it can be, then we can discuss how to overcome and find a solution.

We have birth data each month in our local paper. The Latino names outnumber any other obvious non-Latino by three times. Are all these new Americans being paid for by the U.S. people - when their parents (parent?) have no legal medical rights? I am giving the one-third majority when it is actually a higher number but I expect some of the Latino names are fully documented people.

Just that one issue bothers me because it is so blatantly misused. Women come here to birth their little anchor baby which in turn causes them to believe they are legally arrived.

One thing is guaranteed. If Obama gets elected, amnesty is a given. With McCain, I believe we can bombard him with calls and e-mails and he will get the message.

If the mayor and city council of SF won’t resign after the triple murder by an illegal alien, then what hope is there to clean up anything in that city?

Thank yous to Hunter,Bilbray, Nunes, et al. for standing up for us.

Thanks everybody for the responses.

I'm sorry if my post sounds like DU. That wasn't what I intended.

The fact remains we've tried playing nice with the Dems and it just hasn't worked.

Sometimes in the heat of the monent people respond with strong words.

The only way this is going to get resolved is a change in the leadership of our Congress. The people in charge are simply way too bull-headed and simply do not have our nation's best interests in their hearts.

Once he is elected he is no longer subject to our influence at all. That is why the key is Congress. To get an improved and anti-Amnesty Congress we have to push Drill Now! and McCain. We have to get him elected but we have to have that Congress, too. McCain with a congress as it is now or worse will be effectively no different from Hussein except that we get four more years before the flood..

For McCain and Congressionally passed Amnesty it is like "Apres moi, le Deluge!" For O'Bama it is "Maintenant le Deluge!"

And withour a better Senate don't think McCain will install good juđges. The Democrats will not allow any of his first choices and his second or third choices will be acceptable to Democrats and toxic to the Republic.

Agreed on getting rid of the Democrats in congress. I’m definitely voting and campaigning against the ones in my district, both Senator and Representative.
