It is with great sadness I tell you our Freeper YaYa123 passed away during the night.
She was a fabulous lady - I will never forget her.

Hi, How did this thread happen to be revived? I was answering someone’s comment before I realized that it was a year old thread. I thought I rememberd that YaYa had passed away last year. I know I’m getting forgetful, but I’m not that bad yet. Ha. I still miss some of the oldtimers so mcuh. FR used to be a wonderful place, not only for politics, but for just plain silliness and fun. Does anyone remember the Mobius and the ship’s crew? I wish I had saved those threads. I’ll never forget being dispatched to clean the bilge pumps or some such thing because I couldn’t swim and wanted to climb the mast and be the first one to cry “Land Ho”. What a stress reliever.

We did have fun. I miss a lot of the old crew. Seems as though the new crew is nice, but not as wickedly fun. I remember baking an apple pie virtually for everyone on line. We have had some good times here.
I thought she had died a while back. I looked on the wall but didnt find her, I think I did not go back far enough

The last year has gone by so fast. I still miss my friend.
Nooooo! That’s my line! I was supposed to be allowed to climb the mast poley thingy and watch for land so I wouldn’t be afeared. I can’t swim and I didn’t even want to be on the cruise. Everybody treated me like a cabin girl. Do you have any idea whatever happened to our captain? I think he passed away, but we never got word. He just said goodbye and disappeared. I liked him and thought he was very interesting. Now I can’t recall his name, much to my sorrow.
Will keep her and her family in my prayers..special prayers for her family and other special prayers for her soul...
