How did they ever get that cat in that cage in the first place?

That’s one cat that should be in “burger”.

Oh, I had a cat that was like that, but only with other people. The gas meter man would not come in the house unless 9 pound Misty was locked up (she could do a 7 foot standing jump).

She liked me just fine, though. She’s purr and play all day when I gave her attention.

Whoop! I DO have this cat living at my house.

I was mistakenly trying to socialize a cage-raised animal, and I reached in with my ungloved left hand.

For a little cat, she sure could bite hard.

This post is horrible. This behavior is typical of cats that have been subjected to long-term torture. Making fun ofd this is sick and I am embarrassed it would be posted on FR. Shame on you!

Yep. That cat is scared near to death. Ears pinned back and all. It's an embarrassment to call it a mean cat. Someone should be hung by the balls for whatever they did to it.

I always find it interesting how quickly animal lovers are willing to torture humans that torture animals.

I agree with you. It isn’t even funny at all... this thread should be deleted...

People who enjoy torturing animals will do the same to people if they can get away with it.

Animals are the canary in the coalmine. Any twisted -—hole who tortures an animal will be looking for larger game, though almost as helpless (children).

Look no further than the creep in Boulder Creek who had 32 tortured dogs on his property, including puppies just days old. He ran, and when they picked him up he just happened to be strolling in front of a Los Gatos school. Nice, huh?

Maybe these poor excuses for human beings would think twice about harming innocent beings if they thought they would get the same treatment. These are not to be tolerated or mollycoddled. Or do you think different?

Maybe but that doesn't make torturing humans who torture animals an equal trade.

By the way, I had a house cat that sprayed and I had to put him outside. He fought his butt off to keep his territory in my backyard, he even lost it for a week or so. I would hear brutal cat fights out back night after night. Maybe this cat is feral.

I certainly don't think a person who tortures an animal should be tortured in return. How on earth would that make you better than the torturer.

For all anyone knows that cat is feral and has been living in a park fighting for his life for the past few years.

I have this cat’s twin at home. He only acts like this at the vet’s office. Bottle fed and raised him since he was about 3 weeks old. No one has ever laid a hand on him. Coincidently he hasn’t been invited back to the vet in a very long time.

Yeah, he looks like he’s been tortured. Full coat, nice and fat...and he’s in what appears to be a veterinarian’s office. Obviously no one cares about him.

My sister is a veterinary...specializes in cats. She tells me that some cats get mean like that when they are removed from their home environment, as this one obviously has been. In those cases it is apparently a territorial thing, and really has nothing to do with the cat being mistreated. Actually, it may indicate the cat is very well treated in its familiar environment and is frightened by being in a different environment.
