When will The Finest’s doors re-open?

Also, what happened to the donkey that was pulling the cart, or did it seek asylum too?

He's here now - living the good life - no more pulling a cart - just grazin' in the tall grass all day long.

And yes (obviously!) that part is 'photochopped'. :)

I'm sorry, Maj - I have no timetable. We (hostesses)were getting burned-out, trying to create new openings, and the old ones were getting stale.

I have left it at "undetermined", but there are still a few states we never finished profiling, and hopefully they will eventually be done.

Do we take you for granted?

Well people, I went out yesterday and bought a computer, an HP Pavilion Slimline with Vista. I set it up and everything is working ok, but one thing I noticed was that my old computer never went down and I realized what had been causing the problem. I was hanging too many things on my old computer and the power drain on the transformer was just too much for it handle, so it overheated and the thermal couple shut it down.

With my new computer I relieved it of its biggest power drain, my TV/monitor, and both computers ran perfectly. Ah well, we live and learn but it has other problems as well which I may be able to clear up now that I know it will not go down.

Of course I have to get rid of all this nasty HP stuff that is loaded in the new computer – I have got rid of some of it and will get rid of more later. So far all the tests I have done seem to work OK.

Sorry, you two. It's not a donkey that I use. I need two oxen to pull my cart - it's my means of transportation. (You know, to the mall, to the beauty salon, to the market.......)

The King of the Mountain looks like a lion, or is the donkey inside?

Your graphic and the music ..... beautiful.

Thank you for opening the doors this morning. I appreciate you.

All I can say on your Celebration post is WOW.

I have a year old HP Pavilion notebook with Vista..It has a big screen so it is not one I tote around much..I notice it has a lot of stuff I don’t use but am afraid to remove as I am apt to remove the wrong thing..LOL
I have had no real problems with it..when a very rare freeze up occurs ..I just turn it off and wait a minute and turn it on.
So glad you discovered you just had your older computer on overload and now it is not overheating.

Thanks for the rather extensive collection of Parisian views. Montmarte is featured in several of the earlier slides, a festive place to visit high on a hill overlooking the rest of the city. But I have to admit your photos of Moulin Rouge seemed somehow incomplete--maybe there'll be a sequel? The Versailles fountains and gardens were lovely, as always.
