Thank you for the link, OESY.
Those two were always funny.
See #2202
Dittos!!!!
Is this an actual sketch by Susan?
It is wonderful. She is a very talented lady!
LOL
It pays to be able to laugh about seniors when you are getting there!
Where Is My Paper?
The irate customer calling the newspaper offices, loudly
demanded to know where her Sunday edition was.
Maam, said the employee, today is Saturday. The Sunday paper is not delivered til Sunday.
There was quite a pause on the other end of the phone, followed by a ray of recognition.
So thats why no one was in church today.
Well, you remember that piece of patriotic designed material you gave me TWO years ago that I was supposed to make a tablecloth out of for the picnic LAST year? I will be doing that today. LOL. Nothing like waiting until the last minute, huh?
I've got some other odds and ends of mending and sewing that need to be done, so I am hoping to take care of all of it today while I have the sewing machine out. Other than that and paying some bills on line, I will just be making a run up to the grocery store and that's about it.
That sure is a pretty purple butterfly "good morning" graphic! Good morning backatcha!
I haven’t felt like doing anything this week.
I also need to get to the grocery store.
I need to start doing inventory of picnic supplies and door prizes. I haven’t found anything for a grand prize this year, so ....... We may not have a grand prize. ;^ ) Do you think anyone will complain?
I doubt it. :-)
That's normal. It's your body telling you that you need to rest up after your vacation. :-)
Yup. She is.
OMG, I maxed the test. Do I win a silver record?
THE 84 YEAR-OLD BRIDE
The local news station was interviewing an 84-year old lady because she had just gotten married - for the fourth time.
The interviewer then asked her questions about her life, about what it felt like to be married again at 84, and then about her new husband's occupation. "He's a funeral director she answered".
"Interesting the newsman thought".
He then asked her if she wouldn't mind telling him about her first three husbands and what they did for a living.
She paused for a few moments needing to reflect on all those years.
After a short time a smile came to her face and she answered proudly, explaining that she first married a banker when she was in her early 20's, a circus ringmaster when she was in her 40's, later on a preacher when in her 60's, and now in her 80's a funeral director.
The interviewer looked at her quite astonished and asked her why she had married four men with such diverse carreers.
"Easy son", she smiled. I married one for the money.... two for the show.... three to get ready..... and four to go!
I went back to look again.....its lovely Oesy! Thank you for sharing with us.
Too funny, Amy! Tickled my funny bone!
I "print screen" and then open a new palette in photoshop and paste in my "print screen", then I can crop and resize it and save it from there. It would probably also work the same with any other photo editing program. Seems like there should be a simpler way though, I've never done it any other way.
LOL! Funny. Thanks, yorkie.
Band show was good. 6 HS plus Kent States band. One group had 72 musicians & 23 dancers..and the dancers were VERY VERY good.. My pix weren't that great & I asked another friend if his turned out to share.
Most often the dance squads (or flags team or majorettes) are smaller groups & fair at best. Often embarrassing to watch. These girls were skilled gymnasts, dancers & all gorgeous & gorgeous builds. Their routines were percision & they all smiled, laughed & you could tell were having a ball... From Kenston HS in NE Ohio
Very cute, yorkie! Are you having fun with you grandchildren?
I bet you have cooked some very good dishes...!
