What do you wanna bet that Oesy knows what it means?
LOL ..... I’m sure you are right, Jaycee.
Hey OESY ... would you get banned if you tell us what #12 on post #2045 means.
A great big LOL~~~~
Good evening - you have a wonderful Wednesday and Thursday too.
A sprawling freeway interchange is sometimes referred to as a spaghetti bowl. Las Vegas has a big one on the east side. Salt Lake has a new one since the Olympics. It is 8 lanes wide each direction, and you need to be in the third lane from the right if you want to get off down town and take the first left . . .
You get the idea. Nothing rude at all.
Thanks for the information. Amy and I felt ‘out of the loop’ on those words and since it was Vegas, we thought it was something off color. We just have fun teasing Oesy! He tells it like it is.
Appreciate the info!!
.
Well, Oesy, we’ve got that all straightened out! Did you hear us talking about you??
Thank you!!
Whew ... thank you, Sundog.
Wasn’t sure whether we would get anyone in trouble if we asked for an explanation.
Fresno has no spaghetti bowls, but probably needs at least one. :)
LOL
Guess you are safe for another day.
Thanks, OESY. I should bookmark that site; it might come in handy someday.

You will see Las Vegas has an entry there.
The intersection of Interstate 15 and US 93/US 95 (signed as Interstate 515) in downtown Las Vegas.
I thought it was interesting. I had never heard the term “spaghetti bowl” before and wondered what it was when I read your list. Here’s another definition:
“A point where two or more major freeways meet creating a complex maze of overlapping highspeed ramps, reminiscent of a bowl of spaghetti. This area might look useful on a map, but is impossible to hitchhike. Not to be confused with an interchange which is useable for hitchhiking.”
In 1995, it was applied to Vegas:
(Nov. 3)” Re: Dealers in Vegas?: From the strip, take [15] North to the [93/95] North (to Mercury”) through the Spaghetti Bowl (just look for all those annoying Fitzgeralds billboards), stay in the right lane and exit Rancho, turn Right, head up about 1/2 a mile and look for the beams on the right side of the street.”
Thanks, Sundog.
I know that trying to drive north of Vegas is more than difficult. Very stressful.
Spaghetti Bowl was new to me ..... and I’ve lived in California (land of many confusing freeways) all of my life.
I think the Vegas traffic is worse than Los Angeles’ and I hate driving in LA.
Thank you all for my night classes tonight.
I am closing down for the evening, boys and girls. See you all tomorrow if the creek don’t rise. Goodnight!
Nitey Nite, Jaycee. Sweet dreams.
See you tomorrow.
: )
Thank you for Asking, Dear Amy, and we are Well. Something Funny Happened Yesterday; I Heard my Neighbor Driving his Recreational Vehicle on the King's Ranch to Check his Cows I Let Graze Here, and as I Continued my Housework I Suddenly Heard a Yelp Outside! I Raced to the Window, and the Yelp was Doggie; 4 of my Neighbor's Dogs had Come with him, and the Macho Hunting Dog, Buck, Always Comes Right to the House to Make a Big Show in Front of Doggie. He Struts Around, Sprays Many Times, Looks in her Bowl for Food, etc, and she doesn't Like it One Bit, Lol. She Always Acts Like he's a Monster from Another Planet! The Other Dogs Always Stay in the Pasture, but Buck Invariably Comes Close So he can Show Off for Doggie, who isn't Impressed in the Slightest, but Thinks he's a Nut.
LOL
That is funny, KM. Doggie probably wonders who Buck thinks he is impressing.
