Wow! That is amazing. But what is almost more amazing is that the powers that be are able to keep it quiet. Of course, it is understandable that if word got out, it wouldn't be very good for tourism in Vegas. Knowing that, doesn't really make me want to pack my bags and head for a vacation in Las Vegas.
I have a police scanner that I turn on occasionally. Usually only when I hear a lot of sirens and am curious about what is going on in town. Our little town is pretty quiet most of the time, but we have some gang problems here too. They have moved up here from LA.

Our drought isn’t as severe as others but we are in a drought period.

LOL, I say I am posting, what I would have printed for myself and it is true, I refuse to connect the printer to my computer, as in my first years on the internet, I copied about 50,000 ‘items’ and will never get them in the notebooks as I planned.
Age has rather knocked me for a loop, so I work on the recipes/hints and the World Terror thread and take lots of naps.
There is only me here and I do not have a clock, except on the computer.
Guess I live in my own world, at least with the internet, I can add a lot of variety to it.

Yes, the rain is needed here also, we have had almost none.
30 years ago, August would have had rain several times a week, yes, in the desert.
Now for me, I can’t breathe if the humidity goes up, not even with the oxygen generator going.
There was a time, when I thought rain storms meant “come out and play”, the desert smells so good after a summer storm.
OH .... I hate that these gangs have taken over so many areas. Most of their activity is with other gangs. Just hope innocents do not get caught in the crossfire.
Fresno has had a big gang problem but the police are starting to really crack down on them. I wish they would make it so tough that they would decide to move on.

LOL. I did the same thing. I printed out the entire hearing on Clinton's impeachment. I have a box full of "must save for history" articles. Finally I found out how to bookmark.
LOL. Yes, I would imagine that the absolute last place a gang would go would be to West Virginia. You almost have me convinced that we need to relocate to your neck of the woods. I sure was breathing a lot easier there. As soon as I got back home, my COPD started getting worse again.
BTW, the DVD with all the photos that JK and I took should be arriving any day. :-)
