Good morning, Conor..Thank you! My daughter has these Amaryllis in abundance..They are spectacular.
Thank you, for being constant in bringing the scriptures to us.
It is a blessing and excellent service. You know that already.
I had to search for you. I remembered that you posted on Dragonflies’ Lair .. and yet I couldn’t find you on recent posts there. So have you made a permanent move to Amy’s?
Recently I have been intermittent in coming to Free Republic myself. Sorta broke my habit. Yet I much prefer to come daily.
Your posting is one of the main things I look for every time.
“Fare ye well” Acts 15:29f

Wearing red to support our troops is a great idea.....and it’s also a favorite color of mine. :)
Happy Friday to all!
LOL! I did notice how ‘cautiously’ you asked the question. :)
I enjoyed the mustangs, Cardy. Someday I’ve gotta go horseback riding again. I used to ride as a teenager and just loved it!
Thanks for bringing back fond memories. :)
Thank you, jaycee! I’ll be in and out, too..I must get a nap..I watched our Plano Texas girl,Nastia Liukin, win the gymnastic Gold Medal in all round and Shawn Johnson win Silver last night..twice.

Did you know......Julia Child was a spy in WW II? See this link from the AP dated Aug 13, 2008....
“Famed chef Julia Child shared a secret with Supreme Court Justice Arthur Goldberg and Chicago White Sox catcher Moe Berg at a time when the Nazis threatened the world. They served in an international spy ring managed by the Office of Strategic Services, an early version of the CIA created in World War II by President Franklin Roosevelt.”

Do what mama and daddy do.......
Oops, meant to post to “all”....
.
LOL! Good story.
Reminds me of the farmer who had a rabbits that were destroying his garden. (Peter Rabbit and Farmer McGregor?)
So, he built a huge (rabbit proof) fence around his yard, at major expense. When it was completed, he sat on his porch, and with a sigh of relief, muttered, “So what if it was time consuming, expensive and blocks my view? The durned rabbits can’t get in, now!”
And, from the corner of the garden, watching the farmer, were two rabbits (one male and one female). One said to the other, “We can’t get OUT, either. Wanna get married?”
Oh yorkie..You are singing my song! These photographs are wonderful...A professional nature photographer would envy them..and I love the flowers in the wheelbarrow and your desert scape..
The baby is so cute...and there’s even a bird!
I saw it and weren’t they wonderful? The little short girl that made the boo-boo the night before got the silver, didn’t she? I must have gotten the silver medalist girl’s name wrong. Maybe I have the wrong program. That little tiny girl....I thought her name was Alicia! I may have been in and out of my sleep coma~~LOL~~
I have myself confused. I had to go clean up the street just now where they picked up my brush yesterday. It just about does me in, Meg!
I heard that on the news last night and again this morning. Along with a lot of other names. (Sterling Haydon, for instance) who I think after he did the spying, then he got into the movies. Did you hear it that way! But they did say he did a great job in spying and got himself into some very dangerous situations. They also said he was the toughest guy for spying that ever was.
The bird is a desert quail. There are hundreds of them here. When their eggs hatch, they bring their babies to feed under the bird feeders. Sometimes there are as many as 15 little ones! The look like tiney little walnuts, runnng around!
The wheelbarrow was used on a farm in the 1800’s in Hungary.
I like seeing those wild hogs. Kitty was telling me about them, back when her doggie was missing along with her neighbor’s dog. They were afraid they could have been killed by those hogs. I’ve never seen a wild hog but I’ve seen a farm hog and man do I love to eat their ham and sausage~~LOL~~Reminds me of that cartoon I posted yesterday with the pig and chicken!
Alicia ia the booboo girl..Shawn is also small and adorable.
I thought the judges did not give our girls high enough scores but they won 1-2 anyway..
