How cute is that live action....I love it!
I have Tilapia in the oven and stir fry veggies on the stove. This is lunch/dinner.........later tonight cereal or ice cream!
Check out my #1166, Meg!
Gorgeous baby!
I just had breakfast..LOL
I know - I didn’t mean it was the same picture - but it does look a lot like the same baby’s face! :)
OOOOOH Perfect!
Oh my goodness, that is so beautiful! I adore it. Wish I could do that.....maybe someday when I make up my mind to learn something.
I love that edged like that...is it hard. Lets put it this way, would it be hard for ME?
I will stare at it off and on today! You’re nice to do that!
Love the gorgeous graphics & all you folks share. Thanks to Billie for filling in while Amy is gone(HEY.. AMY, I don't recall voting saying you could take a vacation!) lol
It takes a good photo editing software program with lots of bells and whistles, and then experimenting with all the different frames and edges IN that software takes some time to play around with. I started with a pretty simple photo editing program several years ago but mostly relied on my own artistic ability, then gradually moved up to the one I have now - one that does much more complicated stuff, BUT it WILL do the complicated stuff if you just have the patience to want to learn it.
Mama_Bear uses PhotoShoppe and has mastered lots and lots of the techniques it has to offer. I use PhotoImpactPro 13, and it has many of the same edges and techniques that PhotoShoppe has, but to me, it was easier to learn - not to mention, it's not nearly as expensive!
There are also oodles and oodles of 'plugins' that you can add to these photo editing programs that will do fancy edges and borders. I don't want mislead you, but I don't want to discourage you either, because time and patience are really the key to producing different, striking borders and edges!
I think that MamaBear gave KittyMittens a link to a nice photo editor that is 'free' to download, and Kitty adds pretty borders to her pics! (Kitty also uses TABLE borders!)
BTW, I had started working on Illinois. I came across what I had done the other day. It's not much at this point, and I'd even forgotten that I had started on it. I will keep plugging away at it and let you know when it is finished.
I thought I remembered you telling me early this year that you'd started it, and......ahem! "could have it ready by the end of March." Hey, I didn't know you meant March of 2009. :)
It's been fun, Billie. I've learned so much and it's been a wonderful creative outlet for me. I had no idea when I got my first computer back in 1994 where it would take me and the true friends I would make along the way.
Yep. :)
"Don't leave me...I'm scared to be alone"
LOL! That is soooooo cute!! (((((Billie))))).
Thank you. :)
Seee, I was expecting something like this from you. :)
The pandas are too cute! They really are. You know, I put the gif in my animated gif program, to see if there was any way I could compress it any further in that program - besides reducing the physical size - but it had already BEEN compressed as much as it could be.
So I looked at it further, and realized that it's actually just ONE panda mom & baby - which is copied and pasted side by side, with one side reversed. So then I cut it in half and did JUST the one mama & baby, and it was still cute, but only reduced the bytes by less than half. (Think the animation with just one mama & baby was 274 MB or something like that)
You really wanted to know all that, didn't you? :)
I do! I appreciate your efforts..I had noticed the pandas were one picture reversed..
I figured out that I could snip an end off in Paint and stop the aimation (which is where all the bytes come from) so I could post the still.
I think the programming stops about 3am and then it takes me an hour to settle down..I am a born nightowl and fight to keep on normal schedule in any case.
I was changing out the hummingbird feeder, filling the bird feeder and leaving seeds on the patio at midnight for the morning visitors.
Awwww..You put it all together so beautifully, too.
Thank you for the “magic”.
Kitty introduced me to Photofiltre and that is where I do the simple frames. There could be tools on there to do other things but I chose to get the frames down first. I will talk to Kitty...she does some interesting things on her frames. I like the little shiny moving edge she puts on them sometimes. She is great to help you. You know sweet Kitty!
Thanks for the information. I sometimes believe I will leave all the fancy stuff up to you and Lori and/or others. You all have a great grip on it and of course, Meg does beautiful tables. I wouldn’t want to invest in something that I may not complete, if you know what I mean. I gave up on doing tables very early....didn’t know if I didn’t want to spend the time on it or that at first it just seems so difficult to a beginner! I think I did not have my heart in it at the time.
LOL! Too cute...and fuzzy! :D
Thank you, Lori.I answered about Photofiltre in my # 1197. As I told Billie, there’s probably lots of stuff on there that I haven’t looked into yet! I’ve only done the simple frames and at first that scared me~~LOL~~!
I disappeared for a while for my daily nap! Its rainy and dreary here. Glad my yardman worked yesterday because I felt like rain was on the way!
Be in touch later! ;o)
