My buddies and I once stormed in (unwittingly) on the Duke of Edinburgh (Prince Phillip for those of you in Rio Linda) and a few other dignataries as they sat around a pool on a farm on Maryland’s Eastern Shore having a World Wildlife Foundation meeting.
Hey, we were young and stupid and we were heading for the beach and we had these mallard drakes, and they were getting hot and thirsty sitting up in the back window and... well, uh, well, it’s a long story...
I took a leak next to Steve Perry from Journey at a Kansas City Chiefs game in about 1980. I didnt actually realize who it was when it was happening since MTV had not reared its ugly head and made made all of our rockstar idols like members of the household. Journey never had pictures of the band on their album covers so I had no clue what he looked like. I found out when he was walking out and a guy passed him and did a double take. He came up next to me all excited and asked if I knew who that was that was peeing next to me. I said “some long-hair who doesnt look like he belongs at a football game?” (I was in high school at the time) and he says “that was Steve Perry from Journey”. Turns out they were playing in KC that night.
Sure wish I would have recognized him cuz I am a huge Journey fan.
Bluegrass
OK, so there might be some hope for you yet. Bluegrass indeed rocks. :-)
The bluegrass channel is the only reason I keep my crappy cable
My dad and Ronald Reagan went to different schools together!
Sweet. Were you an extra or did you get to score with of the skanks ladies?
Being that SJP is married and Cynthia Nixon (the other gal on the set that day) is a rug muncher, the only scoring that day probably went on in the studio as they prepared the background music for the scene.
