I thought he was fairly nice about it. One thing I hate is to be talked over. I’d have said it much more potently.

I gotta agree with him...they are so obsessed with what they have to say (which appeared to be nothing) that he wasn’t given a chance to speak. I’m sure he’s toast as far as this show goes, but hopefully some other show will reward him for his outspoken honesty.

They were making him have to repeat himself which is a waste of time on TV.

One thing I hate is to be talked over. Boy, me too...especially during a lecture with over a 100 students. Whenever students talked during lecture to the point where I could see it was disturbing those around them, I would tell the offending students to stand up and tell the rest of the class what they were talking about since it was obviously more important to them than what I was saying. Rarely did I have to do it a second time during the semester.

And those no-talent twits got their Noses by Dr. Smith in a snit, didn’t they? If I recall correctly, The Today Show’s rating are going in the tank, aren’t they?
Dave Garroway must be rolling over in his grave...I remember when this show was great.

These two hostesses need to watch Living the Life’s two hostesses’ respect for their guests’ time.

When Sam has the time let’s hope he makes an appearance on “The View” (AKA Harpie central).

I NEVER watch those kind of programs for just that reason. It is nerve wracking to try to listen when everyone talks at once.

We LOVE Sam the Cooking Guy, he’s on our cable access channel here in San Diego. He really does cook out of the kitchen in his house.

They were making him have to repeat himself which is a waste of time on TV rude and inconsiderate anywhere, anytime. Just my two cents... :)

They were just chattering mindlessly. It reminded me of a line I heard on the Sopranos: “Between the mind and the mouth there was no interlocutor.”

When my wife was teaching psychology to college freshmen and she ran into this, she would ower her voice and start focusing her lecture to the people in the front few rows.
And human nature being what it is made the folks in the back rows fear they were missing something. Amazingly it worked. When the people in the back rows wanted her to repeat what she had said, she told them they’d have to catch up on their notes from the folks in the front. During the class break.

The Today Show and all those other morning shows just sound like a gaggle of geese. They have no conversational manners whatsoever.
