This was sent to me as an email. It is worth reading and it is worth sending on to your friends, and enemies as well. It was originally written by Charlie Reese who was once a columnist for the Orlando Sentinel. Hope I haven't broken in rules but it was sent to me as an email.

So good. The corrupt “Two-Party Cartel” which has basically prevented any other pol parties from ever flourishing shoves their crapola down us. Then they tell you that if you don’t vote for one then your only avenue is the other corrupt faction. Do we really believe that the “Little Boy Barry” or the “Tin Man” deserve a vote?

Charlie is a senile old palenstinian loving coot. His premise is right, but he puts far too little of the blame where it belongs-—with DEMS/RINOs/Liberals.

Stay retired Charlie.

The more I read and see about this election cycle, which seems to have begun in November, 2004, the more convinced I am that we already live in an “Idiocracy”.

If you haven’t seen the movie, which shows up on cable pretty frequently lately, rent it. It is a scarier vision of the future than “1984” ever was!

I’ve been thinking about joining the Constitution Party for a while. Ever since I quit the GOP when McCain became the nominee.

It’s stupid and demonstrates why the Constitution Party is going nowhere and is on it’s way to the dust bin of history.

Sad too. They had a lot of promise before the kooks hijacked it.

Never Re-Elect Anyone!!

Interesting commentary!

Charley Reese has been a journalist for 49 years, reporting on everything from sports to politics. From 1969-71, he worked as a campaign staffer for gubernatorial, senatorial and congressional races in several states.. He was an editor, assistant to the publisher, and columnist for the Orlando Sentinel from 1971 to 2001. He now writes a syndicated column which is carried on LewRockwell.com. Reese served two years active duty in the U.S. Army as a tank gunner.

Charli Reese is a diaper wearing moron. But he hits it home with this one that he must have wrote in a rare (and unseemingly for him,) moment of clarity.

Luckily (/s) he didn’t loose all perspective of his place in this world because he did completely removing any reference to the controlled media he earns his living from and their abilty to BS, intimidate and sway the masses that do vote these corrupt blood suckers into office.

Case in point - I was asked yesterday out of the blue if McCain was still running? She was watching Sunday news shows and said not one single reference to McCain was made in her 4 hour sitdown with remote in hand.

Our watch dog press is eating steak while politicians get free stock options in the beef market.

Ruh-roh!! Charlie’s done stepped into it now!

I’ve been saying this for a couple of months and I have had FReepers take me to task for suggesting that NOW is the time to clean out Congress and start with as many new faces as we can get in there. The people we send to the Congress, both the House AND the Senate are OUR employees, They are supposed to represent US and OUR interests to the federal government.

It is more obvious with EVERY passing day that the government of the United States is severely broken and is in desperate need of repair. This November, We, The People can begin to make those repairs and keep them coming. The political elites are too comfortable and too cozy and they need a big reminder who pays the bills (we do, for those in Rio Linda).

FWIW, I think we need to keep voting OUT incumbents for the next 12 years to make sure that these folks don’t get so arrogant and so comfortable that they forget who they are supposed to represent (hint: - it’s NOT poor people in Africa, South America, or on Venus!!).

i see a lot of problems listed, no solutions. "vote them out" is not a solution.

get decent people who truly do not care about the money or power to run for office. but that will never happen. for one thing, they could not afford the campaign. another thing, hardly anyone is squeaky clean, and the ones who are would never want to be exposed to the scrutiny of an election!

as a country, our biggest strength is also our biggest weakness.

And who else in America gets to vote in their own pay raises and benefits package?

i was just thinking the other day,

the only control we have over the government

is to not re-elect any politician.

With the exception of President (who is term limited) I simply do not ever even consider voting for incumbents.

I've read all of the reasons why this is ill advised.

Yeah, and I still do not vote to keep the “professionals” in office.
