What in June has been touted as the largest discovery in years will have first production later this year.
Where are the 20 years we keep hearing from Democrat liars?

Where are the 20 years we keep hearing from Democrat liars? Part of the difference is because we have tree hugger legislation that requires a two to five year permitting process in this country. I wonder how many BTU’s there are in a tree hugger?

Let's see Brazil can put a whole new field into production in 3 years...and our frigging fearless leaders tell us it can't be done in less than 10 here at home. The same country who put men on the moon in less than 10! I'm so sick of their defeatist apologetic BS...it makes my head explode!

2007 was the completion of the analysis of 15 exploratory wells drilled in this area.
The drilling started years before and seismic survey years before that.
20 years isn't realistic but about 10 years is.

In other news... The Saudi are investing 10 billion dollars over the next 2 years, boosting their pumping capacity to 15 million barrels per day. Part of this is to be competed by summer of 2009.
