I believe the French have the same interest as we do in a long-overdue paying back of certain groups and states for the bombing of military barracks.

The first 6 digits appear to be the date the picture was taken. I’m thinking it’s an identifier for the picture in their database of pictures

At least it’s Nose Gear Launch...back in the Eighties the froggies were still flying those damned F-8’s and they are a PITA to CQ because they require a heavy wire pendant to hook ‘em up to the cat.

080722 is the date on the Julian Calendar: YYMMDD is the format. The rest is LAT/LONG.
