Newly formed Tropical Storm Dolly over the NW Caribbean Sea near 18.4N 84.2W. 1008 MB at 11AM this morning. Max sustained winds 40KT, gusts 50KT, moving NW at 15KT.
There were bands all the way up to Louisiana this afternoon.
Let’s hope it doesn’t roll all the way up the coast!
The pics I saw(FOX)were of Galveston,,,
I think they got a good soakin’,,,
Think it’s got everyone’s attention!
On the other hand, wife said it’s not going to do much of anything except wake us up.
With that, I will call it a day. LOL
It has stopped moving, has sat still for last hour or so.
I'm in Houston, but I've gotta head to San Antonio Thursday and then Ft. Worth Friday to get my son at Boy Scout camp, so I'll miss it if it comes this far. :(
I could be seeing things, but towards the end of the loop it looks like the storm wobbles east just a bit.

Yup, been watchin prety close, looks like a little north also. By daybreak we could have a bunch of surprised people out there.
We got some here in Mobile this afternoon too.
Yes, very little forward progress.
Niters...;0)
It’s been one tornado warning after another this last hour. We just took shelter in the bathroom this last time. Is this normal for this many tornados with a storm?

I hope she don’t stall,,,
Tornado warnings back up...:0/
Yes it’s common to have tornadoes as a hurricane comes close to shore. Prayers sent.

Ya’ll Be Safe...
When assessing tornado damage, inspectors note that bathtubs and fireplaces are the most common structures standing. Stay in the bathtub :)
It’s the only inner room. If we ever build another house....::)
Click it over to short range base,,,
Storm may have stalled,,,
Gunna be a long nite...:0/
One Warning up now...
Hmmm. Didn't think about grabbing a flashlite. I remembered the lap top though:')
In my experience here in Key West they are common ... small and water filled often water spouts which dissipate quickly when they hit land.
I found fish on the roof after Wilma and trees swept in swirls
looks like a slow moving rain event but things will be better by daybreak.
Prayers up
