That was kind of dumb. Contact the authors of the addons and ask them to fix them.

I delayed moving to Firefox 2 from Firefox 1 for the same reason; the add-ons I use were finally updated. I will wait another couple of months before I switch to ver. 3 and probably try it out first on my laptop before going to my desktop.

add new item called extensions.checkCompatibility and make it a boolean item
set its value to false
Restart Firefox
