6 charged in attack on dad protecting daughter at Valleyfair (Thuggery in Minnesota)

The father of a 12-year-old girl who tried to keep a young man from groping his daughter at a popular Shakopee amusement park was seriously hurt late on July 4 after he was allegedly kicked and stomped by a group of men in an attack police called "brutal."

The attack on the unnamed man, which happened just outside Valleyfair Amusement Park, resulted in charges against at least six Twin Cities-area men. They were among several people the initial attacker called on his cell phone to summon them to join the assault.

The group beat up the father as his wife and daughter looked on, police said. The man was seriously injured and unconscious when police arrived.

"We see assaults, but that's brutal," Shakopee police Sgt. Jay Arras said.

Arras said the man and his family were leaving Valleyfair shortly before midnight on July 4 when a man "tried to grab the 12-year-old girl in a sexual manner" near the park exit, the father later told police.

Gunplay is not improbable outcome where I live either, believe me.

I think I read that Nevada has more CCW carriers per capita than any other locale in the nation by a significant amount, and I would bet that most of those licensed to do so are up here in the North country. Committing violent mayhem in public up here might very well be the last dumb thing a thug does.

This is not just a racial thing. There are plenty of decent black people who don’t like having their daughters groped.

Thanks for stating what should be obvious - and it bears repeating.

Think of it: The Red Star spikes this story for over week because it doesn't fit the template and because it's likely to get white folks riled up. This crap goes on in the black community 24/7/365.

Scum comes in all colors of the rainbow. This clot of scum happens to be mostly black.

That’s the thing if people joined in to stop these thugs then it would have been portrayed by the media as a bunch of whites trying to attack 6 impoverished youths who didn’t know any better because life has been “hard” for them.

So what? The guy wouldn't be in the hospital with a bleeding brain either. Hopefully one or more of the thugs would be.

Such amusement parks are often “off-limits” to holders of CHL/CCW permits. Why? I don't know I guess it just sounds cool to say “Why would you need a gun at an amusement park”. Well legislators, and park owners/operators, this is why.

Amen. In addition, this provides a microcosm example of typical life in a gun-free utopia. Gangs of young thugs will be free to terrorize the weak or women at will.

I don’t fear living in America, nor am I abandoning my home country. I’m simply going to establish my home in a place where I can raise my children in peace, and where the culture and pace of life is more to my liking. I will never give up my U.S. passport.

I love America, but the America I love is quickly disappearing. And there’s no running away from it. I have no interest in joining the continental-scale white flight to Idaho or Montana; the influx of refugees from the rest of the country will destroy everything that makes those places so special. Besides, the rot that plagues our nation is of a spiritual and cultural nature, and under the current political system it is impossible to make the spiritual and cultural changes that can stop it. Until the political structure of the United States changes, the rot will only grow worse. Sooner or later, the rot will reach every community in every state, at which time the whole structure will be compromised. No, running to the hills is not the answer.

We haven’t moved yet, and won’t for several years. I still have work to do here in the States, and I can always hope for a miracle. If I see signs that conditions are changing in such a way that it becomes possible for honest people to effectively push back the rot, I’ll reconsider my decision to move. (When abortion becomes illegal, for example, I’ll know the tide has turned.) Maybe then, when there is a real chance of truly fundamental political, social, and culture change, I’ll consider America safe for children again.

All I see now, however, is that the rot is growing. With this in mind, I will proceed with my plan to remove my family to a place where the rot cannot follow.

I won’t raise my children in modern America. I don’t like what our country is becoming, and I’m powerless to stop that change. All I can do until then is remove myself to a country that is still a nation — an ethnos, with a intact and jealously-guarded culture. The nation I have in mind has its own problems, but it lacks the worship of “inclusiveness” and “diversity” that is built into the American societal structure. The population of this nation tends to be tolerant, but it also has a historically-proven ability to deal forcefully with social unrest should said unrest interrupt the smooth flow of everyday life. I can no longer count on the government here in the US to do the ugly, but often necessary dirty work that is required to preserve social cohesion.

As I said, I love America — but not the America that the majority of Americans want. When the America of 1965 returns — the optimistic, Christian, community-oriented, Moon-landing America that was so wonderful — let me know.

Only if they stole it, or beat their B*^ch out of it. More likely drug sales money.

VF is private property. They may post their grounds as off limits to guns. And they have, since the law changed in 2003.

I haven’t been there in over ten years and will never return.

I’ve heard that their signage may not be in compliance with state law. Oddly enough.....the outfit that I work for is have their company picnic there tomorrow. I’ll not be in attendance. However, I have instructed my minions to observe the placement of the signage, collect photgraphic evidence and report back. Also, I have asked them to observe security practices in the wake of this outrage.

The Chan Clan is also moving to Europe in a few years.

Which will soon be overrun by the Jihadists.

No thanks, I'll stay here and fight if it comes to that.

No one has yet released me from my oath to "support and defend" "against all enemies, foreign and domestic". Nor can they.

I dislike the idea that I should need to in my own country.

There's only a handful of other places when, as mere peon not an agent of the state, that you can. Switzerland maybe, but even they have anti concealed carry laws, and too many muslims. Don't know about permits to carry. Of course they also have and can carry assault rifles around with them.

My guess is they were Somali “youths” who did this.

Nope they were just run of the mill Black thugs. Like you see all over America. No good lowlife punks who deserve a bullet.

Very thorough response. I can see where you are coming from, although I believe that the culture of individual freedom and a "sink or swim" culture of success still pervades much of this country, and this is part of the America I love.

A few points:

1. The common "ethnos" you spoke of only truly existed from WWII until the mid-1970s. Prior to that you had an Anglo (some would say Anglo-Celtic) "overculture" and several ethnic racial subcultures that existed regionally. "Mass culture" as we know it today is largely a postwar phenomenon.

2. Christianity is in decline in every country in the western world, and I include Latin America in that category. The secularization of the west will continue for the forseeable future, as most people in economically advanced societies lose patience with the superstitions of the past and the need for a clerisy to explain things for them. This does NOT mean that Christianity is going to disappear, whether as a spiritual or cultural force, just that its hold will weaken in almost every country where it is present in large numbers (with China being a possible outlier). Even in "Catholic" Poland, Church attendance is rapidly declining, particularly among men under 25. Not only that, but my paternal ancestral homeland has seen its birthrate decline below replacement level, a sure sign of the way things are going.

BTW: You really should pay a visit to Uruguay. I think you would find that it fits much of what you are looking for, believe it or not. The inefficiency and the socialism (bloated public workforce) are annoying, but its a great place to live if you have made money elsewhere.

I suppose it doesn’t help growing up having a name like Devondre Quemaine. Seriously, why would anyone name a child something like that?

Just a typical citizen of Obamanation.

Texans seem to hate such zoning as "elitist",

BTW, it's mostly Houston that has no such zoning laws. Of course in the Houston area you can shoot the thugs stealing stuff *from your neighbors*, even with a policeman sitting right out on the street, and have the grand jury return a "no bill". :)

In New Jersey they apparently expect you to fight em off with spoons or something equally non-dangerous.

Zoning isn't much use, the thugs can drive or take the bus you know.

Actually, on a related thread it reads....

The attack happened about midnight on July 4 after the father confronted two men who touched his 12-year-old daughter. The 41-year-old father's wife heard one of the men use his cell phone to say "he needed his boys over here," the charges said. The wife said a minute later several men arrived and assaulted her husband inside the exit of the amusement park, despite efforts by her and several female relatives to help him. He was knocked unconscious.

Appears that she DID try to stop it. Not that she should be held accountable for her actions in a situation with 6 brutal animals beating on a family member after groping her daughter, but I'd have at least one of them on the floor.
