Louisiana is another story. A hub of creationist activism since the early 1980s, it was Louisiana that enacted the Balanced Treatment Act, which required that creationism be taught alongside evolution in schools. In a landmark 1987 case known as Edwards vs Aguillard, the US Supreme Court ruled the law unconstitutional, effectively closing the door on teaching "creation science" in public schools. ID was invented soon afterwards as a way of proffering creationist concepts without specific reference to God.

The small sample of more than 4,000 journal articles relating to the evolution of viruses and bacteria in connection with disease research available in this free archive alone suggests otherwise.
To what? To whom? What the hell are you talking about?
“Teach the kids they are apes and they will just fornicate. “
My sister told me that and says anyone who ‘believes’ in evolution is an atheist trying to brainwash the children.
The government should start the process by giving back to the parents ( dollar for dollar) any tax money equal to the money spent on private school tuition.
This alone would encourage the development of private schooling.
Also...The average birth rate for each woman in the U.S. is about 2.1 children. That is about 1.05 children per adult in the U.S.
If an adult citizen were to privately educate 1.5 to 2 children then they should be fully and completely exempt from any more school taxes for the rest of their lives! They should also be refunded any school taxes they every paid previously. This money could be paid to a private foundation awarding private scholarships to children attending private schools. Or...the adult citizen could privately sponsor 1.5 to 2 children that he knows personally.
1.5 to 2 children would be more than enough to cover the expenses of paying for the poor and the profoundly handicapped.
Oil is the major industry. Construction is another. Various other industries make up a long list, near the bottom of which is evolutionary biologists. Evolutionary politicians are in the biggest industry of all, but that isn’t in the same world with evolutionary biology.
There are only two kinds of people in the world. People who believe there are only two kinds of people in the world, and people who don't.
And the next time you get sick, I’m sure you’ll consult your local well-logger and roofer.
If all education were privately delivered then **you** could choose a private school for **your** children that would teach evolution within this godless worldview philosophy.
Others could choose private schools that taught science from a God-centered worldview.
By the way, I an my husband attended Catholic schools. We both have doctorates. His is in biochemistry. Mine is in a highly competitive and respected health field. My husband worked as a research leader for one of the world's largest chemical firms. He holds 6 patents, lectured worldwide, won many professional honors, and was published frequently in some of the world's most respected scientific peer-reviewed journals.
My husband and I were educated in Catholic schools where the existence of a rational God was woven throughout the curriculum in **every** class including science.
She fornicates, doesn’t she?
is it magic that the constant spinning inside molecules could happen without an outside creator-force? Or that the dna code could put into effect all of the extremely complex workings of our bodies. Certainly, whenever we build any kind of machine, we see that it has a designer. No difference with our bodies and the world. The only thing is people like you are lost in thoughts which are being fed to you by the darkside...it’s not even you doubting what is obvious, you just going along with it in your mind. Check out fhu.com if you want to be free of it.
There is big difference between micro-evolution, and macro-evolution.
Silly. But, even they know evolution is an incorrect hypothesis.
There are ***THOUSANDS** upon thousands of health care professionals who are God-centered in their worldview! You likely have been well cared for by at least a few in your lifetime.
Macro-evolution is barely ( if at all) even touched upon in schools of medicine, dentistry, optometry, nursing, physical therapy, pharmacy, podiatry,,etc. It surely wasn't in my graduate or undergraduate school, and I have perfectly valid license from my state board.
Guess what? There was not even one question in any of my licensing exams about Darwin theory. Not even one!
Except for a **tiny**, minuscule group of evolution scientists macro-evolution has **nothing** to do with the work that the vast majority of people do in this world. This includes **scientists** and health care professionals!
Guess what! Acceptance of the theory of evolution doesn't mean rejection of God! Really!
1. Where does "microevolution" stop?
2. Why do you suppose animal studies are so useful in understanding, diagnosing, and treating human ailments?
3. What kind of "health professional" are you?
If you believe that education can be taught from something other than a godless or God-centered worldview, then please describe to us how it can.
Please describe how education can be simultaneously taught from **both** a godless and God-centered worldview. ( I claim that this is impossible.)
Or.... please describe how education can be taught from a worldview that is neither godless or God-centered. ( I claim that it can not.)
I am sitting here waiting. This should be interesting.
Government schools can **NOT** teach evolution in a religiously neutral manner because such and exercise is IMPOSSIBLE! NO school can. Therefore....Get government OUT of the education business! When government attempts to run and own schools it tramples the First Amendment every time. This is true not only for evolution but for thousands of other issues as well!
2 + 2 = 4. Godless or God-centered?
I did not say that it was.
I am saying that teaching about the origins of man and of the universe can NOT be done in a religiously neutral manner. It is impossible!
The government school has only 2 options: godless or God-centered!
Teaching about the origins of man and the universe from a godless point of view is **NOT** religiously neutral in content or consequences.
Teaching about the origins of man from a God-centered worldview is **NOT** religiously neutral either!!!
No matter what the government school does it will establish the religious worldview of one group and trash that of the other!
For this reason, ( and a thousand other issues, as well) we must begin the process of privatizing universal K-12 education. Get government out of the education business.
I taught my homeschooled children that math was a reflection of the glory of God and his rational mind. Hm?...This is clearly God-centered.
All 3 were finished all college general requirements and Calculus III by the age of 15. The two younger earned B.S. degrees in mathematics by 18. The older of these two finished a masters in math by the age of 20.
But you are a one hit wonder and will beat the same drum ad nauseum.
