On the way in to work this morning, I heard a sound-bite where Obama states that the only jobs blacks in America can get is by playing basketball. Has anyone else heard this? Does anyone know where I can get the sound-bite or a video? Thank you.
This must be changed . If Whitey is 80% of the population , 4 of 5 on the team should be white .
And his wife, Michelle, says he can get shot just pumping gas.
She never mentions who’s most likely to be doing the shooting.

He might have said that. He has a lot of air time to fill before the election and might say almost anything. None of his followers would notice anything he actually says so it doesn’t matter. True Believers are deaf.
Well the person doing the shooting has been brought up in a racist society and suffering from low self esteem. The shooter is grappling with poverty. He is in violation of various gun control laws when he goes to the gas station with the intention of committing crime. The shooter is really lashing out at society, and how society has treated him. Or so they say..................
But Barack going to fix all this. Obama or die, Obama or die, says some rapper dude. I forget if it was Snoop Doggy Dogg or Puff Daddy, P. Diddy? I don’t keep up with the rap music world too much.
Well, there are at least two choices, playing basketball and being a “community organizer”.
Haven’t heard that myself, but if he said it, I’m wondering how come HE’s not playing basketball. Oh wait, it must be his white side that got elected to the Senate.
But this is also the couple who “the community” not to go to work in offices for corporate America.

Obama Slams Hoop Dreams for High School Diplomas
abcnews ^ | 07/08/09 | ABC News’ Sunlen Miller Reports
Barack Obama took a “tough love” message to African American youth, telling that finishing high school is a better route to success in life than an unlikely trip to the NBA or the top of the rap industry.
“You are probably not that good a rapper. Maybe you are the next Lil’ Wayne, but probably not, in which case you need to stay in school,” Obama, D-Ill., told a cheering crowd, brought to a standing ovation at a town hall meeting in Powder Springs, Georgia.
The presumptive Democratic nominee was speaking about high school drop out rates and the need for people to be committed to working hard in school so they can get a job after school.
Obama said he knows some young men think they can't find a job unless they are a really good basketball player.
“Which most of you brothas are not,” Obama, who played basketball in high school, a sport he continues to play to this day, said jokingly. “I know you think you are, but you're not. You are over-rated in your own mind. You will not play in the NBA.”

Michelle Obama: Tells Lower Middle Class Women, Don't Go Into Corporate America
The Astute Bloggers ^ | March 01, 2008 | Staff
A former attorney with the white-shoe Chicago firm of Sidley & Austin, Obama explains that she and her husband made the choice to give up lucrative jobs in favor of community service. We left corporate America, which is a lot of what were asking young people to do, she tells the women. Dont go into corporate America. You know, become teachers. Work for the community. Be social workers. Be a nurse. Those are the careers that we need, and were encouraging our young people to do that. But if you make that choice, as we did, to move out of the money-making industry into the helping industry, then your salaries respond.
I’m not positive but I think it was recently when he was talking about black male responsibility/faith based stuff. I think it was the stuff that JJ said he would cut his nuts off over.

“If we all register and vote, we will have the first black president in the history of America,” Sean “Diddy” Combs told the crowd Tuesday at the Shrine Auditorium before chanting “Obama or Die” - a declarative remix of his neutral “Vote or Die” motto from the 2004 presidential election, when he attempted to boost the youth vote.

It was an Obama lovefest at the Black Entertainment Television awards last night. Puff Daddy/P Diddy/whatever chanted Obama or die and urged his peers to elect the first black president. Alicia Keys, last heard spreading conspiracy theories about the government killing Tupac and Biggie and creating gangsta rap to perpetuate black genocide, yelled Obama, yall!
That asame line could apply to Obama-nation on politics!
The gov’t created gangster rap music to create violence in the black community? Are they serious?
then why in the heck do these rappers sing these stupid songs which glorify violence?
Snoop Doggy Dogg should make a CD singing old Frank Sinatra songs. If they really believe that the rap music is a bad influence, then use their star power to sing something that doesn’t incite their listeners to violence.
Geez, can’t believe some of what you hear.
The old vocal groups for the 1940s-1960s didn’t even need instruments or tape loops.
They learned to sing on key, HOLD the note without wavering, and be suave.
That’s considered “square” now. Selling out to the establishment. Being a “punk”. A “kid”. A “wimp”. Someone who can be “played” and become somebody’s “b***h” in the prison meaning.
It is all about fronting a “tough guy” persona and grabbing as much as you can. Obama was also critical of the materialistic lyrics and videos in rap.
He’s talking down to blacks again! LOL.
You sure that wasn’t “Jimmy the Greek”? LOL
