For those of you who have ever biked into a little establishment on 17-92 just 1 mi. north of SR434 on a Tuesday nite for their free wings....the Handle Bar & Grille, which closed down, seemingly for good, in February, WILL open again! Friday is the Handle Bar & Wings Grand Opening. Many Charity 'Rides' began at their doorstep, and God willing, soon will again. The Handle Bar is now a 'family restaurant' and 'biker bar'...and in good standing with the local community. It may be that the Good Will of all those Vets on Bikes, Patriot Riders, Eagles, Rolling Thunder or just a local vet and his Harley was missed these last few months!
Again...Grand Opening, Handle Bar and Wings (Formerly Handle Bar and Grille), Friday, July 11, 2008. Details soon to be announced.

Great news from longwood
wow. Too weird I read this.
I drove by there just yesterday. Actually, I had to go to the Pontiac dealer next door. Drove by the Handle Bar and Grille and saw zero motorcycles out front.
Having never seen that before my first thought was that they had closed down. I was never a patron but the place was a fixture :-)
Glad to hear they are opening back up.
Can I bring my Jap Crap (Kawasaki Voyager?)
You should really post this on the Florida state board, which is for posting announcements. Everyone who is interested in Florida announcements is notified when you put it there.
Doubt you'd be the only nippie...tho' Honda Shadows are less 'conspicuous'! (Not that I've seen the Voyager)
My neighbor (and his gorgeous Harley) was disappointed this closed- I’ll let him know they’re back.
2: Can I bring the wife w/o getting her upset?
Seriously, may also need to spread the word that the freaks/protesters from Westbooro Baptist Church (the white “God Hates America” church, as opposed to Obama’s Black “God D**m America” church), the one that disrupts military funerals and prays for more dead GIs, is coming to Central Florida next month.
They are protesting at the National VFW convention at the OCCC (they claim not enough of The Greatest Generation were killed in WWII) and then move on to Northland Community Church (about 1/2 south of the bar, by the dog track.
These people are the worst of the worst, and we need to be ready.
Thanks for the advance notice...I'm fairly certain that by then we can 'help' them with any attendance shortfalls...keep us posted
We can “chat” with them.......
