That reminds me: I haven’t seen an article on Emmett Till in several months. I expect to see several between now and November.

I prefer to see him as a 14-year-old boy who was tragically killed in 1955 and whose death was an important indicator of the level of intolerance that some parts of the country embraced during that time.
The other way of seeing him is as a tool. A useful thing to talk about. Let’s trot out Emmett Till and beat the white folks up about the tragic things that happened before they were born. Yes, yes, decades and decades ago bad things happened – and you should be ashamed of yourself because of it.
The Left doesn’t care about people. It cares about symbols. Emmett Till is a useful symbol, and he gets talked about frequently. If the Left cared about people, then they would oppose abortion, clean up public schools, lower taxes, and promote marriage between men and women as the foundation of stable families and communities. They don’t do that, because the Left doesn’t care about people, and they don’t care about Emmett Till. They just value sticks with which they can beat up white people. Emmett Till is just such a stick.

CNN is doing nothing more than stirring the pot of hatred between citizens by reprinting a story dated 2007.
Keep the masses ignorant and uneducated, pay off their mouth pieces (the Sharptons and Jacksons) who love to shake down American businesses and white celebrities who occasionally faux paux, and they'll keep voting for the democrats.
I don't understand why there isn't a single MSM reporter who puts Obama's record in perpective.

1 ARe you for reparations to blacks for the financial losses incurred due to slavery?
2. ARe you for hand gun control in Chicago?
3. ARe you for late term abortion?
4. ARE you for higher corporate taxes?
5. ARe you for off shore drilling?
6. Are you for putting a hold on space exploration?

Is it FRONT PAGE NEWS at all? I looked at the current CNN page and the killing in Jerusalem is the headline. The link to the story you're complaining about is under current news, below the Starbucks closings and the killer tomatoes. It sure doesn't look like it's being played up to me.

Well here in FReeper OKIE, you will find someone not afraid to speak his mind.
In my way of thinking, this election is by far too important, than for me to stand back and let a naïveté nincompoop and his radical supporters despoil the greatest country ever put on the face of this earth.
In my estimation, Obama and his motley crew of despoilers would love nothing better than to turn Lady Liberty into a prostitute for outdated well worn socialist ideals that have not worked in the past, do not work now and will never work in the future.
This old OKIE may not be the swiftest or the smartest but at least I have enough common sense to tell a skunk’s odor when a putrid manipulative sham is being run under my nose.
People can dress Obama up anyway they want and surround him with Albino Americans in bow ties, chaps and cowboy hats for all I care but the so called messiah is still a divider and will use race, sympathy and lies to achieve what ever goals his radical handlers are trying to accomplish.

CNN has to fill their time with something or else they might have to look into the Obama birth certificate or Selective Service record.
Didn't Congress appropriate money a couple of years ago to reopen a bunch of old unsolved murder cases, limited to ones where blacks were the victims and whites were suspected to be the murderers?
I don't know about the Till case being highlighted again, but NBC made a big deal out of the James Byrd murder a few weeks back. A horrible murder to be sure, and one that deserved punishment and publicity, but it's typical that they're still dwelling on it ten years later when they can't give even three minutes to the Wichita killings, the Knoxville killings, the killing of little Emily Haddock, the killing of Eve Carson (actually that one got some coverage until they found out the killers were black), the Lauren Burk killing, and so on. In the most recent NBC report, we learned that Jasper, Texas (site of the Byrd killing) is now a better place to live because black Democrats now control the city government. Hint, hint!
By the second day the cable company was inundated with calls requesting any other news channel no mater what.
We finally got Sky News and the anger at the stupid inane comments by that Arse of a British commentator subsided.
After a few days of seeing some of Foxs’ reporting the cable company was swamped with requests to drop CNNI, which they finally did.
I just wish that the citizens of America could have heard some of the degrading comments of America made by that damn bloody British CNNI commentator.
Even the locals were throwing trash at the CNNI channel.
No murder of a human should go unsolved black, white or red.
I just find it odd that CNN and other left wing media suddenly bring these kinds of stories on to the front page.
Liberals (Media)are not necessarily all that mature and do not often think clearly or with much common sense as seen in their last three presidential candidates of choice.
Obamas supporters,close friends and radical mentors would puke a buzzard off a gut wagon.
The MSM still looks at the average citizen as being somewhat of a mushroom in a cave.
Feed the citizens lots of Shiite and keep them in the dark and they are happy.
IMHO, there’s a boatload of outside-the-USA money running this election. There are a host of things that the American people need to do out there to buy back their country...hopefully we’ll get the chance.
CNN is doing its part to touch the "white guilt" nerve that many white Americans have and in doing so gain sympathy votes for Obummer.

Well I know the MSM is giddy about how fast Obama and his campaign received a gazillion dollars in such a short time and boasted of a Bazillion donor's on his list of airheads.

Reminds me of an employee who was helping me build a house.
This was about 1973 when he came to work and just sat on a log with his head down.
I ask him what was wrong and he said sadly, my mother-in-law talked my wife into drawing out every dimes worth of our money from savings and send it to Oral Roberts over at the prayer tower in Tulsa.
I said why did she do that and he said because Oral said during a prayer that God was speaking directly to her and she should do it right away because he needed a million dollars immediately to save Oral Roberts University.
Of course we all know that when Oral said directly to her he meant many hers.
Could it be that Obama is using his Messiah powers to directly talk to his so-called donor's list?
