I guess the question would be, are the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the FBI conducting an investigation or not? If they are then that's news.

The question you should be asking IS IT FRONT PAGE NEWS and if so why?

I guess it is when the candidate is black and the reporting entity is left wing CNN.

CNN is doing nothing more than stirring the pot of hatred between citizens by reprinting a story dated 2007.
