Chef Tude, well for Pete’s sake how are ya man?? LOL
Are ya in the desert?
No, not yet. What a pretty picture of desert cactus flowers. The flowers are similar to the ones that are growing on my balcony. Things have been really crazy at work. I have to participate in 2 days worth of meeting with the customer. So a lot of time was spent getting .ppt slides prepared. How are you. I hope that all is well with you. I will be in the desert in September. I am working toward my nervous breakdown and no one is going to deprive me of it. ;^)))
GM Trike, nice poem.
My playing in the mud days have long since passed
I think they went out with Rock and Roll
back when I was lean and quick, and could
catch a salamander by the toe.
I love the prisms in the raindrops
an iris, oh so fair
of lavenders and lime greens
of pastel pinks
pots of gold, shimmering in the sky
I love rain best on warm May days
when Mother Earth releases her earthy smell
I draw her deep into my lungs, he promise
comes in June as Columbine and Tulip
lift their heads to bloom!
SF
Ah, I see!
I am doing well, thanks. Finally we are having a dry spell, lovely days, not too, hot.
Can you believe July is nearly shot? Wet one here. A lot of clammy weather which I hate with a passion.
Take care, drop around when you can.
Hi ya Meg, nice picture of the beach. Thanks.
Stay cool and dream of walking in the cool sand. ;0)
WOO HOO for the Cubbies!
Thanks for the cute Good night picture. ;0)
Glad to hear that you are doing well. Unfortunately we here in California haven’t had much rain. We really can use it.

;o)
MY A/C is my best buddy..I’d love to be walking on Goleta beach and getting my feet wet in the cool Pacific.
This morning was nice out while I was feeding the birds.
We have not broken any heat records yet..but are close.
Yep, it is all yours. Cheater, cheater, cheater!
Santa Barbara beaches are nice this time of year as well.
I choose Goleta becase it was closer to where I once lived..and less crowded ..The only time I saw a mob was one night when I went out to see the grunnion run. Every kid from UCSB was there..LOL
I loved living in that area for awhile...
I used to drive down to Goleta from San Jose when the company I worked for had a contract with Raytheon. The derive along US 1 (Pacific Coast Highway) was always nice.
I’ve never lived near a beach, went years ago to a beach in MA., kids loved it, I did, too. Spent a few days on the beach at Atlantic City, woo hoo, gambling. ;0)
Oh, Meg, have the raccoons been coming around?? And the little foxes?
Using Professor Peabody’s “Wayback machine”, I used to go to AC before the casino renovation. I am sure it is quite different now.
Nice picture.
