LOL at your Ode to a hamburger - that’s one big burger pictured there too!
I know ‘that’ one’s a duck! (grebes I don’t know) :)
That is one delicious-looking cake!
Such a sweet, soft graphic to honor Ms Potter’s birthday.
Pictures - you know we want pictures! But absent those, your ‘reports’ will tide us over. :)
I just wanted to let you know (again)how nice it is to see Amy’s Place again, every day - with it’s fun, funny, sweet, silly, cute and pretty posts and ‘holiday’ days!
Thank you, jaycee. Helping with the opening graphics here is more enjoyable than I can begin to express. I know that Mama Bear feels the same way. Some of the graphics (like today’s) are repeats from when Amy’s Place was here before, but it’s almost like the early Finest threads - we’ve come a long way from the early graphics! Bigger and better, for one thing!
Now rest that back again! :)
Sigh! Lasagna is one of my favorite Italian foods. Now I’m hungry for it! (we had spaghetti last night, and I could still eat lasagna tonight!)
Love that sleeping puppy! LOVE him! WANT him! He reminds me of ‘my’ white dog as a puppy. (fantastic animation - the breathing is so realistic!)
LOL! I GOT the first two lines - could not figure out the rest!
Me,too, Billie, anything Italian is good to me! Last time I made ‘too much’ spaghetti sauce, I put what was left-over, after eating it for two days, in a nice jar and its frozen for my next spaghetti.
Tonight, its left over roast beef, potatoes and carrots. Its in the oven now!
Good to see you, Billie!
Billie, I loved it so much, I copied and sent to some of my email buddies!
Hi, jaycee - you’re here before I leave. :) Pot roast, potatoes and carrots are another favorite - it’s real comfort food. My mom used to put that in the oven every Sunday before we left for church.
Hey! I can’t believe you’re actually here RIGHT after I’ve been posting - betcha you’re gone now, but at least it was wonderful hearing from you again! I know we’ll get pictures soon. (after Mz da’bear makes sure everyone looks good in them!) :)
I have eaten from the roast twice. I don’t cook too many roasts with just one, unless I invite the kids. They didn’t make it this time so tonight will be my last meal for the roast....the remainder will leave through the disposal!
I had a dental appointment at 3:00. I always love that..NOT!
If it weren’t for leftovers my hubby would just have to eat cereal or go hungry, go out or something, because I don’t cook a whole new dinner every night! Microwaves are one of our greatest inventions; dinner for the two of us two or three times a week takes about 5 minutes! While it’s ‘cooking’, I have time to feed the dogs. LOL
Hey sistah. Just checked back in and saw you “saw me”. Your ears must have been ringing yesterday...we spent lots of time talking about the Finest...how you “trained” those of us who remain graphically/html challenged etc. Lots of fond memories. The only thing that would have made it a perfect evening is if you were there. ((((hugs))))
