The Chinese gear up to sell hamburgers at the Olympics.
(Sometimes, in China, you just can't get both.).

Background: The Chinese may be taking a page from the U.S. Army playbook where a favorite tactic to convince the troops they're getting
fresh eggs is to sprinkle bits of eggshell into the scrambled eggs.
When we were in China, chicken broth often came with a hen's claw that had been dumped in as a mark of authenticity. Unfortunately, you don't usually discover the errant part until you've about finished. (Then, you know you have.)

Good Afternoon, Amy and All Friends; 'Milk Chocolate Day' is a Fun Celebration, Lol. I Snapped a Pic of the Chocolate Bar I'm Eating a Little at a Time; a Portion from the Right Side is Already in my Stomach!
Happy Milk Chocolate Day!

Hi Amy. Lori called around 5:30 or 6:00 to tell me they were on the ground in Columbus. They were going to meet up with dutchess & Dolly to eat, then hit the road to the Point. I look for them around 10:30. We will have dessert when they get here. Banana Split Pie. All is ready for them. I’m pooped, but the house and yard are clean for the first time since the last time I had company. LOL. We’ll let you know when they get here.

Wish I could be there with you. Banana Splt Pie? I’ve never heard of it but it sounds delicious.
Tell Lori and JK that we look forward to seeing them at the corner on the 1st. ;^ )

Hi Amy and Nan. I’m here with Dolly... Lori and Jeff should be there in another hour. We had a great time with them. Always too short. It was great! Have a great time with our lori!
To: dutchess
Good evening, Dutchess.
I knew you guys would have a great time. Did you get any pictures?
Marissa had her first golf lesson this morning. She was a little frustrated but she has two more lessons. They are group lessons and some of those kids (6 yr olds) look like pros. :)

What a nice time we had at a delightful restaurant. It was good to see dutchess & Lori again
Mr. Dutchess & JFPhoto (AKA MR. Mama_bear) are truly wonderful men & spouses for our sistahs. True gentlemen & avid supporters of their wives’ interests
Lots of pix taken but promised Mama_bear she could “check them out first”..
I am spending the night here with dutchess in her lovely home. Toby & Josy are getting acquainted with Gizmo..
Nan, have fun with your guests.. cant wait to see everyone's pix

Look Closely
When you look out at the stars, your feet are planted firm,
But heres a little thought that could just maybe make you squirm.
Shrink down the place youve been on from the day that was your birth,
As if you saw it from the next rock out, like Venus seen from Earth.
Now Venus seems a bright spot in the night, much like a star,
But when it crossed the Solar face, a tiny speck seen from afar.
If such a little step can make the world shrink to a dot,
Just think what would occur if you could move around a lot!
To journey to some nearby stars where constellations bend,
Or further, where the Milky Way illusion has its end,
Just think about this fact of life when you begin to roam,
The art of Navigation lies in finding your way Home.
