I highly enjoyed “Licence to Kill.” I think it’s one of the most underrated Bond flicks. Even though this one may have similar themes, however, I don’t think it will be a “re-hash.”
I like it - he's got that sexy-ugly thing going. I don't like pretty men.
What I find attractive varies from pretty boy soccer star: Beckham to the bearded, overall radio personality of Red State.Com: Jackie Broyles, who is no pretty boy, but he is attractive in my eyes, quite charming. Pretty boys, all the time makes the conversation and party dull!!!!!!/Just Asking - seoul62........
I sometimes “channel” Fleming after a bottle of Gordons and a few dozen ciggaretes, and that is what he told me.
Oh. Well, then... er....
What type of “assault rifle” is he carrying in the trailer? It looks like the one he had at the end of Royale when he caught up with that old guy.
I believe that is an HK UMP with a silencer.
I enjoyed LICENCE TO KILL as well...Remember the truck chase? I don’t think it made much money as producers hoped for...
Benicio Del Toro was in that film...As one of the main villain’s underlings...
Why not make one of John Gardners’ novels into a film?
Some of his Bond novels were OK...
Watch CROUPIER...Owen was great in that film.
LICENCE TO KILL came out in 1989...
THE SPY WHO LOVED ME takes place in upstate New York.
The movie version is not like the novel...
By the way, I think THE SPY WHO LOVED ME was probably Roger Moore’s best Bond film...
It is nice to see quality from franchise movies recently. Between this and The Dark Knight, sequels are actually interesting and capable of topping what came before them.
I like Craig as Bond. I think they caught him at just the right time. Clive Owen would have been a good pick as well, but I think he became just a little too famous right before time for casting.
I’m excited to see the trailer for Terminator: Salvation. I like Christian Bale but how many franchises does he need to rescue. Unfortunately, Terminator is all on him since I don’t trust McG as far as I can throw him. Now if James Cameron had come back, my excitement for T:S would be at TDK levels.
I have noted that and will include it in my movie collection, thank you./Just Asking - seoul62.......
HK UMP..IN either 40 or 45 acp caliber. Has a silencer on the end. Its techically a submachine gun since it fires a pistol caliber.
You know what...you’re right!
I shoulda gone to IMDB first....
Bond smoked too much, drank too much, and liked his ladies. It was because of the job he did. Alcohol and cigarettes numbed his senses. Women were for pleasure, silly but necessary. Pills? No, he wasn’t into that.
Thank you, both.
ON HER MAJESTY’S SECRET SERVICE was a great entry in the Bond series...OK...Lazenby was no Sean Connery, who ended up with an Oscar for his role in UNTOUCHABLES. But, Lazenby gave a good performance.
