(You cant get much happier than a pig in muck, or so we are told.
But when this little piggy arrived in the farmyard she showed a marked reluctance to get her trotters dirty.
While her six brothers and sisters messed around in the mire, she stayed on the edge shaking. It is thought she might have mysophobia - a fear of dirt.)
A pig, fearing dirt. Thats like a dog fearing social interaction, a cat fearing afternoon naps or Rosie O'Donnell fearing an all you can eat buffet. Its unheard of.

And here I thought we were going to exchange recipes for home cooked pickled pigs feet.
I was eyeing fresh hooves yesterday but resisted.
10 pounds off and it will be my super duper blow it for a day treat.

Popular in Polish cuisine as well. Of course, my swarthier fellow citizens will always claim to have invented it, let alone “chitterlings.”

My Niece had a pet pig. Smarter than the average dog, too.

A few years back my husband and I were walking Bo in the park. In the distance we saw a very “strange” looking dog. When we got closer we realized someone was walking their pig. I use the term “walking” rather loosely because the pig was definitely of the pot-bellied variety and it wasn’t going anywhere quickly. As for pickled pig’s feet....yeck!
