The Supreme Court ruled to allow foreigners whose visas have expired to be able to withdraw their voluntary departures and the court ruled against Exxon.

They’re done for the day. Next decision day is Thursday.

SCOTUS Live Blog says session ended at 9:44EST with Dada being the last decision issued for the day.

Looks like Monday 23rd it is, unless we get a Thursday storm like we got last week.

I hope that I am wrong, but, I have a feeling that we are not going to like what they come up with.

So far Florida Dept. of Revenue v. Piccadilly Cafeterias and Dada v. Mukasey. The former is over bankruptcy and taxes, the latter over a foreigner overstaying a visa wanting to withdraw his voluntary departure motion before the date he was supposed to be out of the country (he can).

I don’t expect much considering their other recent decision. They gave full constitutional rights to the enemy but our troops in the same area only have the UCMJ.

They’ll probably hold the decision until the gun grabbers can get all their new laws written and ready to implement.

More reason to bite your conservative lip and pull the lever for McCain rather than staying home or “third party” or anything like that.

He may be the worst of the bunch that we had, he may be completely lying to us, but one thing’s for sure... Obama would appoint more Ginsburgs.

Except for emergency matters, the SC usually issues its decisions on Tuesday at 10 am. It now releases them electronically, so sites like Cornell Law will have the entire text of all decisions.

Trust me, I know these things.... LOL.

The only upside to an anti-gun ruling would be that it would be a deathblow to the Obama campaign.
