Good morning.
Truckloads of prayers for the beautiful state of Iowa, its wonderful people, and for all others affected by the terrible weather events and flooding.
Good morning Jemian, I’m glad to read that you were able to have your bronchitis diagnosed and get treatment.
I was hoping it was cranberry coffee cake.
gOTTA HAVE ‘PUTER’ PROBLEMS, NOWHERE CAN I FIND TODAY’S POST FOR ‘OUR SITE’. WILL TRY LATER.
My Bill is red all over except for a wee little of black on his body.
NOW I am here.
Gotta tell you, we have about 50 church members from Penn. Mich. and a few other states down here building our new church, what a blessing.
Still under the weather with the ole tummy, surely things will get better soon.
talk to you soon.
Toby
No links today...a little slow and disorganized this a.m.
It is good to be on the road to recovery. Sometimes I can just shake it off but since Sunday I seem to have been getting worse.
I knew that when I walked into the ER and said that I had tightness and heaviness in my chest, I would immediately be screened for a heartattack. That is good standard procedure.
It did become a bit discouraging to hear that ALL the tests came back negative. I was hoping for something definitive. I really was hoping that they would see that there was congestion in the bronchial tubes, or at least hear something in my chest. Blood work, normal; chest x-ray, normal; clear lungs (when listening). But I did have a rumbling, hacking cough. So that, and the history I gave them, led to the diagnosis.
If the meds I am now taking clear this up, the diagnosis is confirmed. If not, we keep looking.
I am having a bit of trouble with the albuterol, an inhaler. Every time I use it I begin coughing again. I’m not sure how much of the stuff I’m actually getting. OTOH, I have a suspicion that it is supposed to loosen something and that is why I cough when I use it.
I apologize. I realize that is too much information. Sorry.
I’ll try, but I’m afraid it will happen again.
I had a brain scan once but they found nothing...;-))
LOL! They were looking in the wrong place. They should have looked just below the waist and scanned from the backside.
Here is one link y'all might want to consider:
Justice Kennedy: American Idle, Ann Coulter.
And no, I'm not going to post any pictures. So there.
I want to tell you all about the group of folks who have come down to work on our new church, make that build our new church. I is just a bunch of Christians who are retired or ones who take vacation time and goes out everywhere to work on Churches, new or old, ours happens to be new. They cvame down a couple of years ago and built our current building and when we decided we had to expand, here they came back to do the work. In one day they put up the wall frame and tomorrow they set the rafters. They will be here for two weeks and when they leave another bunch will come down to continue the work. When the outside is down we will have several couples who will stay and completely do the inside, all we do is feed them and furnish the materials. It is amazing to watch them work, just wish I was in condition to help them, some of the men in our church are doing that however.
The name of our church is ‘Extended Hands’ and that we do, all the time, need help we come arunning.
I will see if Terry can take some pictures and we can send some out for you to see them, him, not me, they would end up in Russia or somewhere else.
YES, I have introduced them to GRITS too and some have become addictive as well, they say it gives the the ‘extra strength’ they need to get the job done.
SIL put some book shelves together for me and now I am able to put up more books, and yes, I am on a reading kick too. On the civil war books they DTILL say the north won, my om my, not one book has it right yet.
All have a good and safe day, and one filled with love.
Toby
