when i got home today i found some sites won't load, it says firefox can't find the site and others don't load properly.
when i fire up IE no problems...
the only change is Avast(anti virus) did an update
anybody else notice any firefox changes?

I’ve been having those same problems with Firefox for at least 2 weeks. I think they started after the last Firefox update. I finally uninstalled it yesterday and have been using IE today.

It could be a root server failure or line problem that’s no one’s fault. Or it might be another attack on our root servers by a communist nation (seriously). We’ll keep an eye out for any news.

It’s fine now, but I had some weird problems yesterday. Especially with Amazon. My MP3’s wouldn’t download correctly.

nope---FF 3.0, beta 4 here.
I found beta 4 to be the sweet spot of FF 3.0 for me, as I didn't care for B5 or the RC1 releases. There were just too many incompatable add-ons at that time.
I haven't d/l'd RC2 yet, thinking that the add-on developers will need some more time.
For sure though, FF3 is a better performer than FF2 (which I have used for years).
