As much as I don’t like grocery shopping, I’m glad you are feeling up to it.

Rest! Rest! Rest!

Good morning.

Today I am twisting tissue flowers and making other decorations (papel picado) for the Fourth.

Thanks for reporting what Fox said. My husband called me from Denver and told me he had heard Father Morris reporting that, but I couldn’t find ANYTHING on the internet or at any of the web sites I frequent.

I should have known ATRW would be on top of things!

Austin is a beautiful city and like some elderly citizens, spreading. Quite a few Californians have moved in so Austin is pretty liberal. When we returned from Germany, we could zip through from one side of Austin to the other side in just a few minutes, NOW the traffic is so congested it takes forever. I still enjoy it though. It is a beautiful city and some of the old homes gorgeous.

It is hard to get anything past us. We do tend to monitor a variety of sources.

Perhaps he’s become disgusted with the anti-Israel leftism adopted by so many denominations like many of the rest of us have.

Or perhaps he’s finding at this point in his life, catholicism better fills his spiritual needs and desires.

I’ve thought of converting myself at times. Haven’t decided that yet...

Morning ALL!!

i missed that entirely - must have been getting dressed 'cause when I returned to the living room, the priest was on and I heard comments about Tony Blair and his conversion.

My question is does a Christain really need to "convert" inside Christianity?

I just spent two hours buying groceries. I hate to be out of everything.

I have found that if I sit too long, I get really stiff. So i am moving around a lot, but not doing any heavy lifting. Son is carrying in the sacks and hauling laundry here and there for me.

Twisting flowers sounds like fun.

I noticed yesterday while watering that my yellow rose bloomed and I missed it. There were two wilted roses on two different stems. :(

Thank you for your concern and for your prayers.

The horrific thing about this, is it just moves slowly SE towards the Mississippi. It isn’t a one or two day thing. It just goes on and on.

That’s exactly the problem I was having. The IP address is 169.254.x.x. Which is a private IP address. What I did was put in an IP address, DNS server, and gateway addresses, and rebooted. Then I went back and set everything back to Automatic to automatically populate the IP address and it worked. Who knows why....
