Obama is the anti-Christ.

Well, I don't think he's smart enough to be that but I would heartily agree that he's motivated and manipulated by forces that are evil.

Prayers for the scouts and their families affected by the tornado.

There you go - the Bible says the anti Christ will be a self-centered, errogant twit!

Good morning and thanks for that nutricious breakfast, lysie!

Today is President George Herbert Walker Bush's 84th birthday!

How terribly tragic that 4 Iowa Boy Scouts died and so many were injured. May God give their families comfort. Prayers for all of them.

We finally got rain (w/sound effects)here late yesterday. The wind was so fierce that it knocked over my wrought iron table on the deck.

Not a Story, Or a Damaging Story?
Posted by: Carol Platt Liebau at 10:17 PM
Melanie Phillips, a prominent and respected British writer, notes that Barack Obama has been less than forthcoming about some of the details of his past, particularly those centered around his early religious allegiances.

If the sources she cites -- including academic Daniel Pipes -- are in error, it would be good to know. There's no place in the campaign for weird, scurrilous rumors designed simply to appeal to groundless fears and latent bigotry. But if the reports are true, the American people are entitled also to that information, so that they can decide what (if anything) they make of it.

But there's no getting around the fact that people like Phillips and Pipes are serious, reputable, and responsible. These aren't just crazy internet denizens making it up as they go along, and it strikes me that some credible, truly independent reporting (to the extent it still exists) should be in order.

The problem, of course, is that the MSM has shown itself to be so completely in the tank for Barack that it's impossible at this point to know whether they're not covering certain stories because they're not stories . . . or because reporting them might be politically disadvantageous for the candidate they seem to worship with such devotion.

Now here's a link to the Melanie Phillips article Liebau links...Obama and the Giant Blogoshphere conspiracy

GOOD! “Obama is the anti-Christ” is my opinion too, however, out here in liberal Oregon...a lot of folks think he is the MESSIAH! Very scary!!!!

Good Morning! Same ole same ole, retaing fluids and they got me hook up with a drain, still hurting, still griping, otherwise I am fine.

I am getting an average of 18 eggs a day, looking for that magical 20 a day, having to watch new Bills health hover, busy ole boy he is.

Now that I have my wind in my sail I am ready to face the day. Talk to ya’ll later.

Johnny, The lights on the computer come on, things whirr around, but the screen remains black. After a while, the lights blink, it tries again, but still black. It does this one or two more times and then quits trying to boot up.

This is with the knoppix iso disk and without. No difference.

How did they get the thing going in Papua?

I come from a rural town in KS, small (under 30,000) and it has always been conservative. I read the online paper yesterday concerning their online presidential poll where the vote is split 44% for Mc and 44% for ob and the rest undecided. I was so shocked, I tried to vote twice, but it’s set up to only let you vote one time. Now that is just unbelievable. In a farm community that pretty much everyone owns at least one gun, that many people would go for ob is just down right scary.

Ok. Let's take it one step at a time. If you have a spare monitor, plug the monitor into the laptop and try rebooting, just to verify that the screen on the laptop is not bad.
