Yea! The Weekend is finally here! PING!
It's not quite officially summer yet but temps here where I live are going into the mid 90’s and very humid this weekend and it feels more like mid July or August than early June. (Not a Global Warming Ping – I actually like it hot).

Speaking of music, WRKP is on WGN on DirecTV channel 307 RIGHT NOW - the Turkey bit is playing. I think they have altered the soundtrack to get past all the clearance problems they had.

1991 - Jazz tenor saxophonist Stan Getz dies of liver cancer in Malibu, Calif., at age 64. His album ``Jazz Samba'' hit No. 1 on Billboard's pop album chart in 1962. The song ``The Girl from Ipanema'' (with Astrud Gilberto) reached No. 5 on the singles chart in 1964. One of the best concerts I ever attended: Stan Getz and Grover Washington, Jr at the Hollywood Bowl. Sadly they are both deceased now.
