One of the most interesting books I've read in the past couple years is this one:

While it's not certain if Freud and Lewis ever met in real life during Freud's years in England (there's considerable doubt that they did, but some historians suggest they may have had a private meeting or two based on some ambiguous journal entries), the author examines the oeuvres of both men and pits their words and philosophies against one another. I understand it was also a PBS series, but I've not seen that...just read the book.

That book is new to me. I think I will invest in a copy.
