I had lunch today at a place you would probably approve of. It's a supper club called 1951 West, here in Green Bay.

Here's the lunch menu. I had the grilled portabella sandwich, about 2/3 of the way down. Boychild (older boychild, not Ev) had the Chicken Bruschetta Sandwich. I topped off my meal with Tiramisu; he had a giant martini.:)

Other than I don't approve of vegetarian or hard liquor in a restaurant... I may have approved that menu.

Portabella mushroom is pretty devoid of essential protiens. I would rather serve a PBJ on white-bread. (at least that has {most of} the right stuff)

While I'm ok with martini's as rifles and drinks... they have no place in a restaurant. Both numb the experience.

And being a smoker, I have to admit, I don't want cigarette smoke in the restaurant, either.

Just my grumpy old observations.

Which is why I live alone. And remain happy that way.
