Boomers went through here for a couple of hours. The power was off. At least we got some much needed rain.
So, we went to Cracker Barrel for supper tonight. I slip a few packets of Crystal Light Peach Tea in my purse to dress up my glass of water. But, when I had about 1/4 of a glass left, the waitress, being very helpful, filled JT’s glass of sweet tea and turned and refilled mine, too.
JT just cracked up. I sat there dumb-founded. It happened so quickly. I didn’t have a chance to stop her. JT as soon as he could talk blurted out, “that will teach you to be so sneaky, Mom.” Hmmph. Ungrateful boy.
