My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

spell check, (brain check!)
Im almost awake, (almost)
Chill wind kisses the pearl of dawn
and I watch robins on the lawn
time does come at its own pace
and starts the ragged human race
Highway filled with those half asleep
in whom their fate trust angels keep
little cups of coffee keep them going
unless a truck has been set to towing
Them workday blues for a waking mind
a shock the things your apt to find
I hate the start of solars light
for upon my sleep its become a blight!

Despite the dark rainy day, goldfinches are crowding the feeders, brightening an otherwise gloomy day.

Hi, WJ! Been missing you.
Yes, you can see the little smile on that goldfinch. I never get tired of them.

A goldfinch will come sit on a feeder and start whistling to call others because he doesn’t like to eat alone. Then, if you’re watching, you’ll see goldfinches blasting out of trees all around. Before I know it there are a couple dozen flashes of bright yellow gathered together to discuss how much better hulled sunflower seeds are than the the ones with the shell.

Nothing like a ‘Seed Party’ in such musical tones.

Goldfinch conversation stays pretty perky considering the seediness of it. Plus there doesn’t seem to be any cattiness or pecking order.

It’s Wednesday....always an iffy day until checks are printed. Constant corrections so far...only a few minutes to play.
