My Dragon Fly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...

And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Animal Sounds A group of young children were siting in a circle with their teacher. She was going around in turn asking them all some questions...

Teacher: “Davy, what noise does a cow make?” Davy: “It goes moo, miss”

Teacher: “Alice, what noise does a cat make?” Alice: “It goes meow, miss”

Teacher: “Jamie, what sound does a lamb make?” Alice: “It goes baaa, miss”

Teacher: “Jennifer, what sound does a mouse make?” Jennifer: “Errr.., it goes.. click!?!”

And what sound does a duck make? AFLACK!!!

Be A Kid Again
- Dot all your “i”s with smiley faces.
- Sing into your hairbrush.
- Grow a milk mustache.
- Read the funnies; throw the rest of the paper away.
- Dunk your cookies.
- Step carefully over sidewalk cracks.
- Try to get someone to trade you a better sandwich.
- Give someone a hug around the neck.
- Blow the wrapper off a straw.
- Refuse to eat crusts.
- Make a face the next time somebody tells you “No.”
- Ask “Why?” a lot.
- Have someone read you a story.
- Wear your favorite shirt with your favorite pants even if they don’t match.
- Eat dessert first.
- Say “duh” when stuff is obvious.
- Put an orange slice in your mouth, peel side out, and smile at people.
- Innocently say your prayers.
- Ride a roller coaster two times in a row.
- Run through the sprinkler with all your clothes on.
- Lick all the cream out of an Oreo before you eat the cookie part.
- Eat just the chocolate stripe out of your Neapolitan ice cream.
- Start thinking now about what you want for your next birthday.
- Lie on your back in a field and look at pictures in the clouds.

Oh fabulous time thanks. Lots of delicious food, drinks, I had lemonade and coffee, and I came home with a new TV set!! My good friends from the years of raising our kids together came.I was pleasantly surprised. Kids young and older, LOL were swimming in the pool, all the grands but one, the hockey player were there. That was wonderful.

No ran today at all, we were all happy about that.

The table decorations were all silver, silver butterfly clips on the awning, silver plates and napkins. Pretty candle holders with tiny silver bells on the outside.

Granddaughter made a cake, it was so rich. Carrot cake with butterscotch chips mixed into the dough. Pasta salads, coleslaw, salt potatoes, grilled chicken breasts, beans, toassed green salad, yummy.

I Asked God...
I asked for strength and God gave me difficulties to make me strong
I asked for wisdom and God gave me problems to solve
I asked for prosperity and God gave me brawn and brain to work
I asked for courage and God gave me dangers to overcome
I asked for patience God placed me in situations where I was forced to wait
I asked for love and God gave me troubled people to help
I asked for favors and God gave me opportunities
I received nothing I wanted I received everything I needed
My Prayer Has Been Answered.
