:(
I had planned to come back and visit for awhile .... but I had an absolutely miserable day.
I’m not sure what the hi temp was today but it was at least 104. FriendAnn, another high school friend and I met other hight school classmates for lunch. FriendAnn took her 1 year old ggranddaughter so I took Marissa to help entertain the baby.
Lunch was great; we ran a few errands and our last stop was at Walmart.
When we were ready to leave, the battery was DEAD!!! We did have some water and some moist wipes.
It took AAA 15 to 20 minutes to get there. Then it took them at least another 30 minutes to install and test a new battery. By the time, we were finally ready to start home, we were all hot, tired, and half sick.
Im going to retire early and try to get some rest.
Pleasant Dreams everyone. Have a great evening!
Tomorrow will be better.

Amy, I am so sorry for what you had to go through with your car.......but there is a reason for everything, I believe. You may have missed an accident on the freeway or a truck’s tire blowing up - who knows? Glad and greatful you are safe, with sweet Marissa!
Hope today is much, much better!
Can’t take heat at all, and I know you were sufferin, esp with the kids. Take it easy today. :)
Hi Amy, sorry to hear you and Marissa and others got stranded in the extreme heat like that. Glad you survived, and hopefully recovered.
Checking in with you and Polly re the heat wave. When it makes it to West L.A., you know it is HOT. I have blinds drawn and a fan going. We do get a little breeze now and then.
Dear Polly, I just Read that it was 111 Degrees at your House and that you have No Air Conditioning; Please be Careful, my FRiend, and Stay as Comfortable as Possible, and Drink a Lot of Fluids; these Summer Temperatures are Awful.
