INTENSE!!!

I would not want to meddle with that lot! They are scary!

(I like the tailgunner idea on the motorbikes: the rider had better be wearing hearing protection tho’, else it will be a short and painful ride.)

Has South Korea sent any Lads to the WOT? If not maybe they should!

BOOKMARKING great photos!

South Korea's younger generation increasingly anti-American

Byline: Michael Dorgan

SEOUL, South Korea _ Sipping a latte in Seoul's trendy downtown Myeong-dong district, 20-year-old Park Jin-woo pondered a paradox that has huge implications for South Korea, the United States and all of northeast Asia.

It's this: As South Korea's younger generation has grown more Western in recent years in its tastes and lifestyle, it has become increasingly anti-American.

The North Korean nuclear standoff has revealed deep strains within the once rock-solid U.S.-South Korean relationship. Underlying those strains is a generation gap in South Korea that pits a generally pro-American older generation against a younger generation increasingly suspicious of the United States and less worried by North Korea.

"Older people do not understand our clothing and our hair styles," said Park, gesturing toward his own fashionably shaggy henna-dyed locks. "And older people, including my parents, do not believe that North Korea has changed its attitude. But younger people believe that North Korea will gradually _ not suddenly, but gradually _ change."

Seoul's Myeong-dong district, where 20-year-old Park was having coffee at Starbucks, is full of American fast food...

More seriously .... although these pics depict is mostly for show, the underlying skills needed to put on a show like this are incredible. The South Korean special forces are a seriously scary crowd.

For anyone who doesn't know, the so-called "anti-war" group International A.N.S.W.E.R. was formed by leaders of the Workers World Party (and mere days after the 911 attacks). WWP is a collection of pro-North Korea Stalinists based in New York City. When A.N.S.W.E.R. was eventually outed as a communist front, WWP started up a new "peace" group called Troops Out Now. Democrat chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, Charlie Rangel, actually gives speeches at their rallies and the New York City media looks the other way -also is never confronted by Hannity or O'Reilly about it.

Here is a photo (from the WWP's own website) of chairman Rangel at the podium of a March 19, 2005 WWP/TON "anti-war" rally in NYC. March 19, 2005 marked the 2nd anniversary of the start of the Iraq war. Other prominent lefties who spoke at the rally were the former attorney general under democrat president LBJ, Ramsey Clark , and Lynne Stewart , convicted of aiding islamic terrorists. Clark heads the International Action Center and had a major role in the formation of A.N.S.W.E.R. All three organizations, The International Action Center, Troops Out Now and Workers World Party have headquarters at the same exact location in New York City.

From the website of the Workers World Party, workers.org:

"On July 9 (1994), Workers World Party Chairperson Sam Marcy sent the following statement to Comrade Kim Jong Il, the Central Committee of the Workers Party of Korea and the State Funeral Committee of President Kim Il Sung.":

"Dear Comrade Kim Jong Il ...

The National Committee of Workers World Party extends our deepest condolences on the passing of the great leader of the Korean people, Comrade President Kim Il Sung.

Comrade Kim Il Sung devoted his whole life to the Korean people's struggle for national self-determination and the international working-class struggle for socialist emancipation. With his leadership, the Korean people defeated the Japanese colonial occupation and soon after brought about the first defeat of the U.S. imperialist military machine.

For over 40 years since the armistice, the U.S. military has continued to occupy the south of Korea with troops and nuclear weapons. This occupation has been the chief obstacle to peaceful reunification of Korea and poses the chief danger of a new war on the peninsula." ...

"Workers World Party values our close, comradely relations with the Workers Party of Korea very highly. We are proud to have known Kim Il Sung as a great leader and a comrade in the international communist movement. ...

With comradely solidarity, Sam Marcy Chairperson, Workers World Party":
