If it’s nerves, they should be about past.

He had a big smile after assisting on the OT game winner.

I like your prediction! He’s overdue to put in a few!

Git-R-Done Gino!!

"I like the Pens' chances as long as Neil O'Donnell doesn't don the gold & black sweater."

I hope Geno gets a score tonight, but so far in the Finals he's done a spot-on turnover machine imitation of Neil O'Donnell.

Funny stuff. After first period question was, "Are the ice conditions any different here than from Detroit?".

Answer: NO.

At least the shot count is closer tonight. So far.

All in all, an OK start.

Wings scored on a PP, with Fleury screened and a perfect shot, top shelf.

Terrien has moved Crosby. Not matching with Zetterberg anymore.

Malkin looks sharpest, along with Orpik.

Wings appear to be going after Gonchar.

It was a humid day here. And the Igloo is an old cooling system.

The Pens look good. Detroit is solid.

This should be an “instant classic!”

"why is the igloo melting down?"

Actually your question is very reasonable. And I the answer.

When I worked in the Igloo for some games in the spring and the weather got warm, sometimes it was warmer inside than out. It is that damn roof. Not to mention the airholes around the perimeter. It is so bad they would never try and pull back the roof anymore. It costs a fortune to put rings in as seals to keep the weather out.

There was a point in time that they were scared to death that the roof would come off with low pressure weather. Now it is bolted down only to come off when they tear it off.

Latterly, it is like playing a hockey game inside your car with the windows shut. It's a tin can with little to no insulation.

Wings driving Pens offense nuts because they can’t center penetrate. Has happened the entire series. This is like watching Groundhog day. Same thing, over and over.

With all due respect to Tiger ... this game of hockey is much more fun to watch than golf.

My daughter is there...she is in D...she said it is about 90 degrees up there...actually sweating it sooooo hot. Said the floor shook under her when Malkin scored...great vibe from the crowd:)

Well...hate to see the season end, Congrats to the Wings and the fans of the team.
Pittsburgh is a very talented, young, exciting team and will be a contender for the forseeable future.
Its just too bad they came out flat the first two games or this may have gone another way—
Hell of a series-—good stuff ;)

It won’t be that long. It will all be over in about twenty minutes.
