Congratulations to the Detroit Red Wings and the Pittsburgh Penguins!
Two great teams who have earned the chance to hoist Lord Stanley's Cup!

I haven’t posted on this thread tonight because I can’t seem to leave the couch...this reminds me of the night I was sitting in Miami Arena watching the Avs Vs Panthers in Game 4 and it was 0-0 in 2 OT...just insane playing here.
We have the radio on and TV muted. This game has many parallels with the Dallas-San Jose game. I wished I hadn’t stayed up for that one. I think the Penguin’s young legs are an advantage.
I would just like to say that I had half of my Freeper Fantasy Hockey team filled with Red Wings..Osgood was my goalie all year long and some how I still finished 8th!!! WTF!?!

Hi MFH. I have some roots here. I was the official scorer for the Pens for 7 years. I got the job by default. Nobody wanted to do it when they sucked. I got $27 a night and free parking.
That longest one is almost 6 overtime periods on top of the 3 regulation periods. I imagine they were a little tired at the end of that one. :)
Tedd Lindsey lived up the street from me when I was a kid. We kids would play hockey on the frozen over street and he would come out and give us pointers. His face looked like a baseball. Abel, Lindsey and Howe ~ greatestest line ever!!!
