Just a personal 'Thank You', to the Powers That Be, at USA Network, who are about to save me some $48 DL fees, by running two NCIS "marathons" this weekend on Friday and Monday...24 total episodes, 12 each day, of episodes I haven't watched yet. All ready set up to watch/record them. >8o)

Thank you! It sounds like a very interesting show....
I’ll check out when it’s on in my area.

Well, what I am saying, is the next time it’ll be on air, it will be the beginning of season 3. Whereas you can watch all the full episodes from the pilot on, at the ABC Family site I posted the link to, for free. Streaming. So you don’t have to wait for a whole episode to Download, or need to have lots of free space in your hard drive to hold all the episodes.

Believe me. The story has lots of sub stories woven in, and you’ll find yourself lost many times, if you try to start watching from season 3 episode 1.

When you hit a blah TV night, or a late night, and you don’t want to go out...you could catch an episode or two, and have plenty more to last through the summer re-runs.

But as you wish... ;)

Thanks for the advice-— and yes, there are many dead TV nights around here.

Oh, BTW...(Sheepish grin) I found out why I thought thaty they had surrepticiously replaced caitlin with Ziva...When I was DLing, I went from DLing Saeson 2 Episode 1...2..3..to DLing Season 5, episode 4...5...6.. Augggggghhhh!

Didn’t catch on till I watched the relevant episodes during the marathon.....”Duhhhhhh Which way did he go George? Which way did he go?????”

Greatest line of NCIS was when someone asked Gibbs, "What was Ducky like when he was younger?"

Gibbs replied, "He was a lot like Ilya Kuryakin."

Boy, do I feel out of the loop. I’ve never heard of a single show mentioned on this thread. I guess if it’s not on Fox News or History Channel I don’t know about it. (except for NFL games)

Thanks, but I think I'll pass. When it comes down to it I'd rather read a good book.

No problem. Shows are free and streaming. First day I found it I think I watched the entire first season of "WKRP In Cincinnati"

Wow! Great site! BTW for those who were interested by my description of “Amsterdam”, a few corrections: It’s a FOX program, and apparently it goes by ‘New Amsterdam’, not just “Amsterdam”. And Hulu has it’s first season available.

Remember at the halfway point, when Gibbs tells, Tony to investigate the acting director (I forget his name). Then at the end of the show he is in Shepperd’s office and looks thru his file and then shreds something. Then the guy calls the team up and splits them up.

Something fishy is going on......

Tony will continue his investigation of this shady character and they will all work together on it secretly and then uncover the conspiracy involving the acting director (whose name I still can’t remember!) and then get back together!

Remember folks, you heard it here!

I think it was more likely a 1400s or 1500s immigrant. Early enough for there still to be a fair amount of indians in the state.

This is not possible: 'European settlement began with the founding of a Dutch fur trading settlement, later called "Nieuw Amsterdam" (New Amsterdam), on the southern tip of Manhattan in 1614.' -- wiki

Yeah, I loved the Marathon - I had missed a lot of the beginning shows with the original female (who I also liked), and I was very upset with the ending saying they were going to split up the team.

I like your thought process .. I hope you’re right!

You are so right! Glad to see someone else appreciates this channel as much as I do. I am completely addicted to NCIS - so I’m thrilled with the daily multiple episodes and the weekend marathons. It’s almost as if they can read my mind - that I can’t get enough of NCIS. (Oh, and also Law and Order CI :-)

How did you manage to dredge up a year old post? Not that I mind NCIS, just curious.

Man1 Blast from the past! This thread is almost a full year old! And yes, I still do enjoy being able to watch NCIS a few times if I want, on any given weekday. But i’ve long since seen every episode now, a few times at least, except the newest ones, so my craving isn’t so acute.

Recently, I’ve been watching the Stargate: SG1 series on Hulu, from the pilot on, and I am almost through the second season, in less than 3 weeks, (that’s 22 episode a season) and they just added season 3! So, goingh from not having seen a single episode of the show last month at thius time...I’ve watched almost 40 “new” episodes (to me) and it’s great knowing I’ve got over 22 more episodes to watch in the TV doldrums of the next few weeks, that I can watch on demand without a “repeat” for me.
