Just a personal 'Thank You', to the Powers That Be, at USA Network, who are about to save me some $48 DL fees, by running two NCIS "marathons" this weekend on Friday and Monday...24 total episodes, 12 each day, of episodes I haven't watched yet. All ready set up to watch/record them. >8o)
Correction: I think it was more likely a 1400s or 1500s immigrant. Early enough for there still to be a fair amount of indians in the state.
Thanks for the info about Amsterdam!
You’re welcome. I hope they renew it. Or USA Neetworks picks it up.
You know, IO remember when the best programming USA Networks had, was some gawd awful old cartoons that no one ever heard of before...Now, they have seemed to monopolized a good number of the best and even *first run*, shows on cable....
I’m looking forward for Monk’s return on USA in July...It will be interesting to see how Monk copes with his new therapist...
Monk is a good show. But I gotta admit I’m looking forward to Psych more. I wanna see if they re going to be able to keep the pace up. Do you watch ‘Chuck’? If you do, do you think they’ll be relocting him out of the BuyMore? I kinda wonder how they’l bee able to keep the plotlines as zany, without his :”co-workers”....Sorta like ‘Raymond’ without Robert..just wouldn’t be the same.
Monk with a new shrink!!! That's got to be cool. I can hardly wait also!!!
Never heard of it...When and where is it on?
I still smile when I remember Monk mailing his garbage to his shrink during the garbage strike.
‘Chuck’ is a zany SpyCom show, also just finished it’s first season on NBC this spring. Unbox has it.
Plotline: rising computer geek, gets toosed out of college by trumped up evidence given by supposed best friend who steals his girl as well....later, working as a “Geek Squad” repair tech, at a big box store, “chuck” gets sent an -E-mail” by his old friend. who is now a super spy, abnd that message has all of the US Secret Intel encoded into it, and it all gets zapped into “Chuck’s” brain..and now he’s the only one who has it, but he only “sees” any of it when something triggers a memory.
So he stays working at the BuyMore, with two agents “handling”/guarding him, and he is like the weak sister of a Covert Ops team.
I certainly did use the writerws strike to find some new shows, didn’t I? >8o)
I’ll have to check ‘Chuck’ out!
I love Abby! She’s such a sweet paradox.
I really like Amsterdam also.
That and Moonlight (which was cancelled, but at least it ended on a positive note).
There aren’t enough paranormal shows on these days (at least for me).
You know...I didn’t realise “Probie was so slender. The suits he wears, and the way they shoot him, I always thought he was a bit on the boxy side...not fat or even chubby, but liked his Big Macs.
This picture shows him to be much more trim than I thought him to be. Makes no real difference, but it sorta surprised me. :)
Do you mean the scene at the end where he first goes into the office, and then rips out and shreds a sheet from his file before calling the others in?
-PJ
Yeah..You *know* they did that for a reason...Her files...and she had something on him....Maybe he was somehow tied into the paris Op? Maybe he’s a “Kim Philby”, and he was removing evidence that pointed to him as a mole?...Of course, maybe he was trying to protect her, and ends up pointing suspicion at himself, when someone realises the doc that should be there...*isn’t*... :-o
Ah! Suspense! :o)
Any chance you watch Kyle XY? :o)
Yeah,
nothing like shredding stuff from your permanent record to make you look shadey :)
No! Tell me about it....
I do watch Eureka, Battle Star Galactica etc so it’s probably right up my alley.
It’s a ABC Family Channel show. It finished it’s second season this last winter/spring(?)
Scenario: Naked boy wakes up in the middle of a forest. no memory, or language abilities. No knowledge of the world...and no belly button. at first, considered to be a “dim” he exhibits a phenomenal learning curve. Due to over crowding, a psychologist, takes him home to her family house, for what is only supposed to be a temporary transition to a foster home, but as his unique gifts exhibit themselves, bonds are formed with members of the family. Eventually, they decide he should stay. His past has interesting and dangerous things that cause him to learn at an accelerated rate as well as just learning how to interact with people, without exposing himself, as being so different.
There are lots of twists and turns in the plot line over the two seasons...enough that after watching the second season first, I was willing to spring for the first season on DVD just to find out how it all started, and to get caught up.
A little racy for what I expected from a “family” channel
show at some points, and the Psychologists family is very
“progressive” in their ideology...but it’s a “page turner”
of a TV series in my opinion.
I just checked, and ABC Family, has many of the episodes of Kyle XY on their web page for the show. The Pilot episode being last on the list. And yes, it can be clicked into gfull screen mode, at the bottom of the viewing window. may take a couple of seconds after the video starts to get the Full screen button to work, but as long as you have Broadband, you should be able to watch much if not all of saeson 1, and a good part of season two, on your PC while the kids monopolize the TV.
